Proposal

Clarify the type of XP required on the Skill Template UI page

Justification

The skill templates UI page doesn't make it clear what skill boxes open up with what XP types. For a new player this could provide a fairly frustrating experience especially as actions can reward more than one XP type.

One additional suggestion would be to add the bars of XP to each skill box so that it's easy to see how close you are to gathering enough XP for a box.

Motivation

For newer players it's not obvious what XP you require for the various skill boxes.

Found R3 the other day and thoroughly enjoying reliving my early 20's again! Trying to persuade my brother to join and realised that the XP system is pretty complex unless somebody explains it to you - so here's a thought on improving it a little bit

The skill monitor is a great help, but has 2 problems:

1. when you take any shutle or ship for travel it resets so you need to reselect the skills to track
2. when you learn a new skill you must take it off and on for it to resets the skills

Thanks for the reply! I didn't realise it was WIP It wasn't the skill monitor, more that on the template page, I'm sure years ago there was a little black XP bar on the "next" skill you could learn that filled up yellow as you gained XP if that makes sense (not sure if I'm explaining that well). However that's largely mute if you folk are still working on the page

I would like it if the skills UI window wasnt so huge, forcing you to use a higher resolution just so it fits on the screen.

100% agree, but as you say, will hold on until its past the WIP state.
