Star Wars Galaxies was a Star Wars themed open world MMO developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts. Released on June 26, 2003 to much critical acclaim, it spawned three expansions through 2005. The game was completely overhauled in the last expansion, which frustrated many longtime subscribers.
SWG Restoration aims to recreate an authentic Star Wars Galaxies experience based on the Combat Upgrade expansion while tying together the best parts of every SWG-era.

Players must unlock Jedi as part of a unique journey to becoming Force Sensitive. We'll have more information to share as we approach the release of Jedi.
Every individual is allowed one account. Each account has two character slots by default. A third character slot can be unlocked by completing the Ridith DNA Collection. A fouth character slot is opened by unlocking Jedi. An account can have a maximum of four characters and can login a maximum of two characters simultaneously.
Yes, Jump to Lightspeed, the space expansion, is fully implemented along with later NGE additions, like GCW2 Space Battles.
We actively monitor a snapshot of the economy to evaluate its condition and have implemented a number of changes to adjust both incoming and outgoing credits. We take the role and effect of unattended or "away from keyboard" (AFK) gameplay seriously. You can read more about our approach in our Developer Diary: Redefining and Addressing Unattended Gameplay.
The class system is entirely free to be mixed and matched and based on skill boxes within each profession. A character can level up in whatever profession they would like, with a hard skill limit of 250 pts. See more on our wiki.
Yes. SWG Restoration allows only one (1) account per person. Account sharing is not allowed. Each account owner must have their own computer. A total of six (6) accounts may come from the same IP address (home). You do not need to request special permission for multiple accounts. The game launcher will register each computer.

The Restoration Galaxy takes place in 3 ABY after the Battle of Hoth. The storylines of Star Wars Galaxies are not considered canon. The game will continue to follow the story arcs and events in the "Legends" Expanded Universe which includes movies, books, comics, and games authored prior to 2014, without respect to changes or additions from the Skywalker Trilogy or future canon materials.
