Ability for Jedi to clone as a regular PVP ground troop during the upcoming Petranaki Tournament -=FOR 24 HOURS ONLY=- because it would be completely sick.
Justification
Let's showcase the class, allow players from the PVE mindset to fight alongside the healthy, active and quite frankly talented PVP organisers and shot callers that are a huge part of the resto community. Consider it an introduction and an opportunity to prove that PVP on Resto is not entirely 'toxic'.
Motivation
This was not my idea, credit goes to someone out there on guild chat. I know that many FS players rely upon their Jedi class for the incredible PVE bonuses it provides and thoroughly enjoy that gameplay. They may avoid PVP for fear of ghosting / BH attention / E-Bushido stigma of running a Jedi in normie PVP. I think that if this event could take place, it would need a set date to ensure that all new PVP parties were ready with builds and prep. Happy to hear your thoughts, ideas to flesh out the back story of why this 'Ghost Day' buff might occur and your objections. But remember guys, it's just for a day. Regards.

Sorry, I really appreciate the intent, but I feel that the extra character slot earned by unlocking jedi already fills this purpose. I would advise spinning that character up as a regular ground troop in preparation for petranaki.
 
I already have a PVP toon who will perform well during Petranaki and I play with it every day in open world, Restuss, FP and BFs. Read the PV again, it suggests an opportunity for jedi to swing their glowbats during Petra for one day out of 9 without ghosting. For the lulz.

Pulling dev resources for this just seems all around like a bad idea...and short turnaround to allow virtually no testing with no permanent gain. It just doesn't make any sense in any way that I can see.
 
What about making every character into a jedi for that day for 24h and have it deleted permanently if they die as a jedi in that timespan?

Hell NO. Glowstick wielders completely ruined OWPVP back when Pre-NGE was live. There are plenty of other servers available if jedi wars is your thing.
 
You got a downvote for the sentiment that Jedi should get more DEV time for anything... From what I understand (which is very limited) Jedi have their own dedicated patch coming for the FRS.
