Allow the Core Stat on Heroic Jewellery sets to be customisable

Proposal
Provide a method in which the owner of the heroic jewellery set can freely select the core stats on each piece (Ranged General, Melee General, Defense General, Endurance, Opportune Chance, Toughness and possibly Camouflage). See screenshot as an example.
Justification
This will increase build diversity and make it easier for players to balance their core stats.
Motivation
If people want to change builds, they already need to change their heroic jewellery set and exotics to compliment their new build. if the core stat on the heroic set is completely different to what they are currently using, this means that the player may also have to re-do some of their SEAs in their armor to balance their stats better.

This becomes a problem when professions such as Smuggler or Commando use completely different core stats on the two jewellery sets that are available, which means that switching between them freely is quite awkward.

There are also sets, such as the Rampart set, which provides toughness on the set - a stat which is easily available from other sources such as food, making it feel like a wasted stat.

you could make a new craftable item like a "jewelry stat reforge kit" that requires you to have some materials and a 100k item you need to buy from a npc for each reforge kit
so crafters would need to be involved and it would cost 100k per piece

If you did this it would need to be re.
 
I don’t think adding a huge cost to do this is the right way to approach it. This simply punishes newer players (the ones more likely to make a mistake and need to re-stat the jewelry). There’s already so many advantages for established players, should not turn this into one.

Perhaps you get a free respec of jewelry once a month or something and can pay if you want to change it more often.
 
I don't think newer players should ever be encouraged to even re-stat the sets in the first place and should leave them default? By putting a cost on it kinda means they'll think about it before spending the money
 
idk if its even possible to add this but the jewelry could come with 1 free respec when you buy it and after that you gotta pay or craft an item to change the stats

Why? Newer players tend to switch builds and experiment with stats etc a ton as they figure out what works, no sense punishing them for that.

Maybe the free set is free to respec, other sets cost money.
 
Upvote - I'd be completely fine with 100-300k for some kind of single use jewelry recalibrator. Or a 5 use item that cost 1 of each token seems pretty fair.
 
Heroic jewelry gives a slight nod to RE artisans. Or a woohoo chance that the bespin port will last longer. Theres not even a NOD to master Craftsmen, Ie: Armoursmith, Weaponsmith.... What about something for us/them?

I don't want to derail this but the Tinkerer heroic set is already AWESOME for Weaponsmith, and pretty damn good for Armorsmith. The +10 Amazing Success Chance alone is a game changer when making weapon cores or when doing factory runs. It allows Armorsmith to craft PSGs with a higher recharge rate with the increase in Amazing success chance. The +150 Opportune Chance benefits both for weapon and armor repairs, as well as contributing towards the occasional *LUCKY* proc which can increase the effectiveness of whatever you're crafting. The "Free Craft" with Bespin Port saves me, as a weaponsmith, a tonne of idle time waiting for fill to drop if I get lucky.

Now imagine if the Tinkerer set had Toughness built in to it. That would be bad. Its a good thing that the Tinkerer set has Opportune Chance built in already. This PV aims to address sets that aren't quite as lucky to have a stat as beneficial as Opportune Chance is to Tinkerer (as well be a good QoL in general).
