- Proposal
- Either disable targeting on a held right-click or add an option to disable right-click radial wheel and targeting.
- Justification
- Many players use holding the right mouse button to move the camera around, especially in heroics and other chaotic combat situations. However, right clicking at all in these same chaotic situations can cause accidental selecting of unintended targets.
- Motivation
- Seems like a fairly easy UI fix that would be a great QoL improvement for anyone who often rotates the camera with the mouse. I, personally, am tired of constantly losing my intended target because I'm trying to move the camera around.
I was talking to some guildies yesterday while we were running a heroic and I casually complained about how often I lose my target because I right-click to move my camera around and the right-click action causes me to target something else. A held right-click should not target a thing. I recognize that right-clicking something is often used to open the radial wheel, but that should only happen on a click, not a hold. Even if the solution is to add a toggle to disallow right-click radial that would work for me, since I could just disable it before doing heroics or other combat related things and then re-enable it after.
If there is an easier solution to this that I have been missing I'm all ears, but a number of my guild chimed in saying this was a problem for them as well, and I can't imagine it's just us.
