Proposal
Create a special container object that Droid Engineers can craft, allowing owners to place items into it from a centralized location, automatically sorting those items into designated containers within their home.
Justification
For example, a player places 5 Lyase Enzymes and 12 miscellaneous junk items into the routing hub container. Instead of manually moving each item, the player opens the radial menu and applies a name-based filter.

The rule specifies that any item containing "Lyase" should be sent to a container in the player's home named "Beastmaster." When sorting is triggered, the system scans the hub, moves the 5 Lyase Enzymes to that container, and leaves the remaining 12 items in the hub or processes them using other filters if they exist.

This makes the routing hub a centralized drop point where players deposit items once and let rules handle the sorting. Combined with the multi-select drag and drop system, it significantly reduces the time and effort needed to manage large inventories.
Motivation
The motivation is to reduce repetitive inventory management by allowing players to drop items in one place and let predefined rules handle the sorting. Combined with the multi-select drag and drop system, this provides a clear quality of life improvement by saving time and effort when managing large inventories.
Add a special container object that Droid Engineers can craft. This object would act as a central hub where players can deposit items and have them automatically sorted into designated containers within their house based on configurable filters.

While I would love something like this, (and the opposite, where I can see/search all my house items as if in one large inventory). As a developer, (who hasnt seen this codebase) I can imagine this being pretty painful to retrofit.

As someone who has the script logic for it, it was.
