Create a system where Musician's and Dancer's Can train someone who does not have those Professions in a Dance/Song/instrument

Proposal
It'd be a system functioning Similar to the holoemote menu during an Image Design Sessiion.
A player would have two slots for a dances, one slot for a song and one slot for a instrument.

The Musician/Dancer could fill or change out whatever is in the slots for said character.

These would not allow for inspiration or lowering vis etc, lacking novice Ent.
Justification
Player's Lack the ability to express themselves at events and socially via dance and music.

You can only get so much participation or expression from Starwars1 on a slitherhorn and Basic Dance.
Plenty of people learn Calypso and the theater rewards just to have an option when not operating as an Ent.

This will allow for much more expression and give another reason for players to interact with Entertainers for a service.
Motivation
Many a time I find myself noticing I want to dance to show dominance or tease in pvp.
Many a time I find myself wanting to play music but only in a roleplay or aesthetic capacity.
Many times have i brought this idea up and rarely do I get complaints.

Self Expression is something SWG lacked in its infancy and slowly built up to its in current states.
The appearance system being added to give us style options setting us free from the armys of same face armor sets.

This would set us free to express ourselves.

What dances do you choose to roll?

What song speaks to your Identity?

Bunduki Fencer twirling his blades over a corpse showing victory

Breakdancing Bh's Dabbing over Jedi

Parties where many dances are going off together at once.

Lets make it happen.
A player Character Would have Four Slots.

Each would be empty as default.
This would be Separate from the Basic and Starwars everyone gets.

Dances
Null
Null

Instrument
Null

Song
Null

It'd be a capstone ability for Musician and Dancer to imbue those slots with one of the dances/songs/instruments they have knowledge for.

I absolutely love this idea. The only thing I'd consider is expanding it to include Image Designers. Instead of (or alongside) Entertainers permanently teaching dances, what if Image Designers could apply them as a cosmetic "dance imprint" similar to the current holo-emote system? Give it a limited number of charges or uses, then players can come back and change their style whenever they want.
I think it'd make Image Designers a little more relevant. They're one of my favorite professions, but outside of the occasional appearance change, I rarely have a reason to visit one. This would give them another fun, non-combat service to offer while keeping player interaction alive.
Oh, or maybe make it an Entertainer Prestige ability instead. For example, a Master Dancer + Master Image Designer could permanently (or semi-permanently) teach dance slots, while a Master Musician + Master Image Designer could teach songs and instruments. That would make mastering both professions feel rewarding and give people another reason to seek out those specialists.
It'd also make the old Image Designer tents relevant again. I always loved seeing those packed full around the galaxy, but nowadays they rarely get used. Having people gather around them to learn new dances, songs, or instruments would bring some life back to those social hubs.
I think this fits SWGR's philosophy perfectly. More reasons to interact with players, more reasons to visit entertainers and image designers, more character identity, and zero impact on combat balance. Anything that encourages people to hang out in cantinas, cities, and player events is a win! - UwU

I originally workshopped the idea of it being a temporary thing that needed reupped.
Either limited by set time since the original teaching sesssion, or numbers of uses for the song/dance.

But that seemed like extra work for the devs, and some of the people I talked to on walk abouts seemed to not jive with that part of the idea.
I personally like the idea of it being Tied to Image Designer, as that prof over all needs more use. I recall some chatter about it being added onto in the future, perhaps this could be one of those functions. Thou that would Require you to have Image designer and Said Prof relevant for teaching said dance, song or instrument.

I wanted to hedge the bet with the simpler version (If I can call it that) with what I shared above.

If there's some serious interest later on We might try pushing it in that direction when we get it raised to the devs .

Dancing along with Musicians/Dancers or even a jukebox item sounds great, but dancing over a corpse in PvP just sounds like Fortnite emoting.

I'd upvote if you had to be /watching or /listening to an ent or a jukebox.

Personally those were suggestions. What players would do with the ability to dance/music would be up to them in the design concept.
It was just meant to give them the freedom to express themselves.

Technically You can still /dance over a opponent or world boss

Just the emote is kinda lame as its a very two left foot dance.

Entertainers are going to bolted to the Mos Eisly Cantina due to the development plan.
It'd be fun to see people dancing all over the galaxy and playing tunes for the RP character.
