1.4.0.1 Shatterpoint Bug Bash
The server was taken down for maintenance today, and an update was applied. Be sure to close the game and run your launcher. The update notes are as follows:
Content
Flashpoints
- Changed Capturing an objective will now grant 50 GCW/Mercenary tokens and 500 GCW/Mercenary points
- Changed Flashpoints will now grant minimal rewards even if no enemy players show up
- Changed Flashpoints will now grant reduced rewards to players show that up within the last five minutes
- Fixed Flashpoints will now grant rewards even if all enemy players have left
Bounty Hunter Missions
- Fixed NPC Bounty Targets can now always be attacked, even when they spawn inside something
- Changed Bounty Mission Terminals will now display if it is a space bounty in the listing window
Echo Base
- Fixed Rebel and Imperial belts have had their Cold bonuses removed
- Fixed Vehicle abilities can no longer be macro spammed
- Fixed AT-AT’s can no longer be Pistol Whipped (lol)
Legacy Quest
- Added Players can now use the command /legacy to see where they are in the Legacy quest chain
- Changed Elite mobs during the Infiltrate the Valarian Bunker quest have had their damage reduced
Heroics

Restuss
- Ground destroy missions now reward 5 commendations.
- Crafting missions now reward 10 commendations.
- Space destroy missions now reward 15 commendations.
- Space mining missions now reward 20 commendations.
Galactic Supply Lines
Convoyeer
- Convoys can no longer be started by multiple characters on the same account.
- Distance bonuses now apply only to profits, not to the total sale value.
- Added a relocate option with a cooldown to Convoyeer mounts.
- Players are now dismounted and their vehicle is snared when an encounter begins.
- Dropped cargo no longer requires line-of-sight to be picked up.
- You may now abandon your Convoy and Interceptor vehicle while en-route. A confirmation window will alert you that your cargo will be dropped.
- Sentinels are now shown in the View Cargo UI
Convoy Vehicles
- Small vehicles: speed increased from 5 to 8, capacity unchanged at 3.
- Medium vehicles: speed increased from 4 to 6, capacity increased from 9 to 10.
- Large vehicles: speed increased from 3 to 4, capacity increased from 21 to 24.
Sentinel
- Same-account Sentinel hiring is now blocked.
- Missing Sentinels no longer receive payouts.
- Sentinels are now rewarded for killing Interceptors.
Interceptor
- Same-account interception is now blocked.
- Interceptor rentals now charge a fee.
- Interceptor vehicle speed while carrying cargo reduced from 30 to 8 (unchanged at 30 without cargo).
- Interceptor vehicle HP increased from 5,000 to 25,000.
Cargo Scrubbing
- Upon loading cargo, power is diverted from the Interceptor's invincibility shield to the onboard cargo scrubber. This process takes 5 minutes, during which the Interceptor is vulnerable and the cargo cannot be fenced. Plan your escape route accordingly.
Economy
- Base crate price reduced from 100,000 to 60,000.
- Price variance increased from 30% to 33%.
- Markets now properly refresh every Sunday.
- Hot Time events are now enabled. Prices in random cities will spike by 25% at random intervals. Keep an eye on the markets and plan your routes accordingly.
Progression
- Each GSL role now has its own progression track with five ranks, advanced by earning faction points through crate deliveries and interceptions. Only one progression job may be active at a time. Speak to a Market Broker or Fencer to register, view your rank, or surrender your progress. Forfeiting your progression job resets all progress.
- Ranks are earned at the following thresholds:
- Rank 1: 0 points (starting rank)
- Rank 2: 500 points
- Rank 3: 1,500 points
- Rank 4: 3,000 points
- Rank 5: 5,000 points
- Point earnings per crate:
- Convoyeer: 5 points
- Sentinel: 5 points
- Interceptor: 15 points
- Rank titles by role:
- Convoyeer: Trader → Courier → Navigator → Trailblazer → Pathfinder
- Sentinel: Hunter → Escort → Guardian → Warden → Vanguard
- Interceptor: Thief → Tracker → Striker → Shadow → Corsair
- Titles are currently the only progression reward. Additional rewards will be added in a future update.
System
- Players on a GSL job will no longer be warped after failing max attempts to enter a battlefield zone.
- Waypoint cleanup no longer occurs upon cloning.
- Refactored callable storage and vehicle-specific store guards.
- Hardened GTA stat update logic.
- Crafting supplies will now grant 2000 base control points (from 20)[/changed]
GCW
- Added The /pvp command will now show the Factional Helper (Mercenary) menu while neutral
- Fixed Mercenaries will now properly show on the map or IntelPad while flagged Special Forces
Items and Equipment
- Changed Permafrost Crystal's visual effect has been remastered
- Fixed An issue causing certain looted weapons to delete their socketed attachment has been resolved
- Fixed Hoth Armor schematics now require Master Armorsmith to learn
Miscellaneous
- Added The Prone and Kneel commands will now toggle back to Stand if used while in those postures.
- Fixed An issue with some <Lucky> procs not occurring has been resolved.
Resource Network
- Fixed Correct a bug on the Resource Network Terminal that displayed all resources on the Chemical table
Prestige
- Added Prestige ranks will now show their weekly decay rate in the tooltip
- Fixed Prestige XP will no longer falsely claim to be modified by Rested or other XP bonuses
Mercenary
- Fixed Mercenary eligibility during PvP will no longer stop granting xp after killing enough enemy players to become favored
PvP
- Changed Open World PvP kills will now grant 150 base XP per kill (3x previous) and 10 bonus XP per rank of the killed player (2x previous). This can still be reduced by repeat kills, multiple attackers, and soft caps.
- Changed Reduced the Bounty Hunter Prestige bonus to 100 (from 200)
Professions
Squad Leader
- Fixed Improved Paint Target now properly grants its improved debuff. Both versions of the debuff have been rebalanced to account for this.
Space
- Changed Prevent landing from Space Stations during space PvP
- Changed Prevent Hyperspace droid chips from functioning during space PvP
User Interface
- Added Profession skills will now show miniature XP bars on the boxes you're eligible to train
- Fixed The Skills window will once again display tooltips over profession skills
