The Empire Day and Remembrance Day celebrations have arrived, with tension high between the Rebel Alliance and the Empire as the Empire seeks to celebrate the Emperor's rise to power and the termination of the Jedi Council, while the Rebel Alliance works to inspire hope for the future and defeat Imperialist propaganda.
- Both factions are recruiting members to help post propaganda and tear down whatever propaganda the other side managed to post. Entertainers are recruited to boost the troops' morale, while Artisans are hired to help keep supplies flowing to the front lines.
- Imperials can seek out Major Brenn Tantor in Theed for Propaganda Quests and Droid Kaythree for Artisan and Entertainer Quests.
- Rebels can seek out Captain Derlin in Coronet for Propaganda Quests and Major Carlist Rieekan for Artisan and Entertainer Quests.
- Be sure to grab the new rewards from the statues and vendors!

A Shatterpoint Event has occurred! Rebels have stoked the fires of rebellion on Naboo, and the populace is rising up to take control of Keren. It's a Mass Uprising.
- The people take up arms. For the entire week, the Rebel forces in the Keren invasion are replaced by armed civilians: protesters, laborers, militia cells, and veteran partisans drawn from the planet's own population.
- Extended battles occur twice daily. The embattled city fights two large-scale invasions per day with extended construction (2 hours) and combat (1 hour) phases: construction at 17:00 GMT with combat at 19:00, and again at 00:00 GMT with combat at 02:00.
- The other two invasion cities' times have been adjusted to alternate every two hours while Keren's invasion is inactive.
- Every battle raises the planetary Crisis: attacker victories and decisive wins raise it faster. As the Crisis climbs, expect fiercer fighters, tougher defenses, new resistance leaders, and the final battles of the week to always play out at the Breaking Point. Check the invasion status window's Details panel to track it.
- During a Shatterpoint Event, all GCW tokens and points are doubled.
- The war leaves scars. When the week ends, the outcome is written onto the planet permanently. A monument to the victor will be available for all to visit, and what it is will depend on the planet's Crisis level.

Invasions have been revamped with new mechanics and multiple victory conditions, aimed at rebalancing them, bringing in additional playstyles, and increasing rewards for everyone. There is too much to cover here, so please check out the updated Galactic Civil War Invasions Wiki Page for full details.
- Invasions have a maximum score of 1,500 points that can be earned through various objectives by each faction. The original assault on the general objective is worth 500 points; additional points can be claimed during the build cycle or by defending/capturing various other objectives during the combat phase. You can see the full status of the invasion in a new UI that will automatically appear during an invasion while in cursor mode.
- The primary PvE mechanic of attacking the General has been updated into a new Pressure mechanic instead of directly attacking the General. Once attacking NPCs have made their way to the General, pressure begins building based on how many NPCs have reached the target. Once the pressure meter is full, the attackers have claimed those "Command" points, and defenders earn points for how long they lasted. This does not trigger the end of the invasion, as there is still time to earn other objective points. If defenders keep pressure low through the invasion timer, they earn the 500 Command points, and attackers earn points for how far along they pushed the pressure.
- There are two new PvP-themed objectives in invasions: two “king of the hill” capture points that must be claimed and contested throughout the fight to passively score points, and the new Shield Generator assaults. The boss siege vehicles, when crafted, now path to a Shield Generator and must be defeated before they can take down the shields. Attacking these vehicles will mark a player as Special Forces.
- Score points can also be earned by completing the existing specialized quests for Smuggler, Entertainer, Ranger, Medic, and Artisan.
- Rewards for all of the quests have been increased, and most quests can now be picked up automatically by interacting with the quest objects or attacking enemy NPCs.
- Whichever faction wins an invasion will be the defender for the next round.
- Mercenaries are now eligible for Invasion rewards if they fight for the side that either has a lower active score in the invasion or is losing the Galactic Civil War overall.
- Developer Note: This section was updated to reflect some additional changes that went live on Friday July 17th, related to scoring weights and the Pressure system.
