- Proposal
- Make the same mechanic that exists for picking a direction to filter mission terminal results, also apply to the faction terminals. I.E. the ability to filter the generated missions by the cardinal and ordinal directions.
- Justification
- The mechanic already exists for the mission terminals, with some groups using it for credits as well as XP. I have not found a good reason that this shouldn't be an option for the faction missions as well.
- Motivation
- I would like to see a reduction in the number of times I'm clicking on a given faction terminal to get two missions going in a similar direction. Both to make my trips more concise, and to reduce the repetitive strain injury risk. I feel like the time saved in earning credits and GCW points would be minimal, but the reduction in annoyance would be very significant.
I have a very simple suggestion, in that I'd like to see the direction-picking mechanic from the standard mission terminals also work for the faction terminals. Originally I was converned about suggesting a time-saver on a method used for earning credits, but the mechanic already exists for mission terminals, which people do use for credits sometimes. Additionally, I feel like the time saved would not be the significant part, as it's more annoying to repeatedly click through the Refresh button for missions in a similar direction than it is slow. The reduction in annoyance and extra clicking would be the real gain here.
