This post is merely theatrics. You said much without saying anything, and then suddenly came to a conclusion, almost on a whim, that “BH is about waiting, pull up a chair and get some popcorn.” You also made a subjective statement that it’s worse for a Jedi to login without a bounty cleared, implying that the proper gameplay loop is for a Jedi to suicide to a Bounty Hunter as fast as possible to return to their normal gameplay cycle of low visibility and no bounty. “That’s the experience”, says you. Except that isn’t the normal bounty hunting experience, and never has been, when a player is out clearing the most difficult content of Star Wars Galaxies. This is the gameplay loop when a Jedi is hiding in their home, safe and sound, low visibility, not when a Jedi has a 5.1 million bounty on their head and is clearing the riskiest content in the game. Logging out while being hunted should surely mean death according to the LD mechanics. That is why LD exists, to prevent the player from logging out to avoid gameplay consequences.
Again, I am waiting for someone to provide an actual rebuttal, not theatrics, or their own vision on what “bounty hunting” should be. Logging out in a heroic isn’t disrupting the gameplay loop of a Jedi, it’s disrupting the symbiotic relationship between Bounty Hunter and Jedi PvP.
Screencap provided of dead LD Jedi. The normal gameplay behavior of a Jedi who logs out while being hunted. While not in their home. Etc etc.
