- Adapt some existing game assets to provide more [customiseable] cosmetic cybernetic limbs for players to use.
- Justification
- This would provide another opportunity for players to exercise self-expression. Plus, since Droid Engineers would be the go-to artisan for something like this, it would also give them some additional utility.
- Motivation
- Stat enhancement seems to have been the only concern for the base cybernetics options. Aesthetic utility (and aesthetics in general) appear to have been an afterthought.
It would be great to see more cosmetic options for cybernetic limbs. Perhaps the base concept for the currently-existing Anakin Skywalker hand could be expanded to include forearm-only versions of the other cybernetic limb styles in left and right-handed options. Perhaps it could also work for legs, so players who wanted to wear a prosthetic leg wouldn't have to replace the entire lower half of their bodies. (Not to disparage any of you who use this quirk to facilitate Droid roleplay. Keep doing what you do!) If the clothing recolour system currently under development works, perhaps it could be expanded for use with these potential items. (And droids, if possible.) If it works, maybe someday down the line, we could add some limb models of our own.
