- Proposal
- My proposal is to allow the mayor to select an assistant or cityscaper. Someone that could do everything a mayor can do when it comes to buildings, gardens, decor crafted by architects, and packing up buildings.
This can be another form of militia where there is only one you can assign to the roll Cityscaper / Vice Mayor / Assistant Mayor.
Or depending what is easy to add to the code, have the mayor pick a vice mayor to run with so when voting goes through, one will be the Mayor and the other the Vice Mayor.
- Justification
- The justification for making this change, would be to allow the mayor to delegate one person above militia level to help them develop and decorate the city
- Motivation
- The mayor does not always want to be the one who decorates. And by limiting certain aspects to the mayor only, it makes coordinating and city development hit a bottleneck. And its not a simple process to temporarily pass the mayor title to another citizen without waiting for elections
Basically allow the mayor to appoint a single individual (assistant mayor or cityscaper) to help him build and maintain the growth of the city.
