Proposal
ITV 10k a use?? nope,. not to mention fuel cells??
ok how about stimulating player economy not credits disappearing in thin air.
first remove the 10k cost of use, keep the fuel cell consumable, but make it the better the fuel cell like as in cap cap amazings u can get multi uses out of each cell 3, 5, 10 w/e just not 1, 1 would be crap resources just make smaller sized crates and single use cells, better resources increase case quantity and number of uses per cell till cell expires from over use.
Justification
At what point is using credits that do not contribute to player ecomony a good idea, wasted credits, that nvr circulate....
Motivation
With all that, the players make the credits , not the system absorbing 10 k per use into thin air. player economy is a huge part of the life blood of SWG Resto
Ok im huge whenm it comes to QOL implimentations,

Downvote. There are credit sinks and this is one for a reason. Also this server has the best economy of any of SWG servers. Just a few months ago one of the developers said this -

Our sink to tap ratio generally hovers at around 65/35, it’s a little lower than we want it (our goal is 60/40) but overall we have very strong price stability and monitor the economy very closely. I think most players that have played for a long time and on other servers would readily say we have the best managed economy of any server or the live game. I don’t often like to compare us, but feel very comfortable in this specific category.

Idle credits are a problem yes... But the way SWG is designed from its inception constantly dumps new credits into the system on the daily. Some Versions would cap what you can get out of credit terminal missions or generate via quests.

One factional mission terminal pair run thru solo is like 30-40k give or take.
Its why I'd tell people to tip ents at least around 20k as you could easily with prep time hammer out 20k in a few minutes.

I've goofed before myself and burnt thru way more than I intended on ITVs, that just meant I have to go do something to get credits from others like looting or just credit generation from terms for pocket Change.

Credits get dumped into the system like mad, sinks gotta be somewhere sadly.

I gotta Agree with the Downvote on this one. If you need help with methods of keeping up credit upkeep outside terminals, feel free to hit me up via the discord or in Game.
Wouldn't be the first time I helped someone learn to monetize there in game loop of activity.

I'm against this too.
There is a reason we have static cost that removes credits from the game.
Its to counteract against inflation and it has to be a regular reoccurring cost otherwise it wont work.
If you do not counteract inflation strongly enough on a game that constantly introduces new credits into the system, the player economy will become a clownshow.

Also that being said:
While i love QOL stuff, the whole fast travel system as nice at it is also comes with an influence on player interaction and the meaningfulness of distances when you have to go somewhere far out.
You can essentially travel to lets say the DWB and back in 60 seconds now which is a large convenience thing but you shouldn't be teleporting around the galaxy 24/7 without meaningful cost attached to it that makes you consider if it is worth it.
I think the current system works well for this.

Hypothetically... How much?

Flat rate or would it be dynamic involving types of itvs or locations?
You know honestly, I never thought about dynamic pricing. I like that idea even more! I'd go up to 50k a trip personally. Maybe make it planet based. Dath be more expensive even if it's better QoL to use ITV on dath.

I know the GCW crowd played with the idea of GCW wins effecting ITVs in some way...

Might be a hard sale thou to the player base at large even if it gives the winning faction for a planet a discount.
