- Proposal
- I propose some QoL changes to the Theater Manager Quest to make it easier for players new to Entertainer to accomplish this quest and enable more people to enjoy the songs and dances.
- Justification
- Currently, the quest is not tracked like later quests/Legacy, making then difficult to see where you are on the questline. Also the rewards could stand a slight enhancement to be more enticing. Also, this is listed on the wiki as one of the Top 100 things to do in SWGR!
- Motivation
- My motivation is to see more Entertainers have access to the quested song and dance to liven up performances.
The current Theater Manager Quest is old, cludgy and desperately in need of a make-over! I would love to see some, if not all, of the following changes:

- Add quest tracking for the quest into the current quest journal like most other, more modern quest lines. Allow us to be notified in the quest details how many people are needed to be entertained for each popularity rank at a glance, and add the noise indicator like in loot x# items quests in Legacy.
- Look over the performance portion of the quests to make sure at least 1 dance or song is stated as desired/loved, and 1-3 flourishes are desirable as well. Several times I've gotten no song or dance and 1 flo they didn't want to see, which inevitably led to that attempted performance's failure. I've done this quest many many times on many toons here on Resto, so I can attest that this is a real issue people face.
- Add badges for completing Song, Dance and Both. These badges do not need to be counted in the Jedi Unlock if that is perceived to be a possible issue. although I would like more avenues for Entertainers to do Part A, and this would help there.
- Titles would also be a nice incentive to encourage people to try these quests - perhaps one for song, one for dance, and one for both, granted when the badge is accomplished.
- Each theater manager in the major cities would have their own unique quest portion, with the quest being started first in Mos Eisley, followed by portions in Theed and Coronet. These additional quests could offer unique clothing or dance props/instruments as rewards, and reward the Western song and Theatrical 1/2 dances after all three portions are completed. This addition should be fairly simple to implement as it would only need some additional quest scripting and the modification of a few items to make them unique to the quest line.
