Proposal
Remove expiration timers from storyteller props placed indoors to match their outdoor equivalents.
Justification
This already is in place outdoors, and it seems to just be a legacy state that they expire inside.
Motivation
This would allow for significantly more indoor decoration options with no asset development time required.
Let us add more already available decorations to our homes and shops and have them stick around!

Many larger props are already restricted from being placed indoors to prevent abuse, so this should not allow any griefing behavior. They should also count as items to not bypass the home storage limit. Additionally, this may require jukebox music to not play until the prop jukebox has visually loaded in for the character (if this isn't already the case) so you don't hear 100 jumbled songs driving through a player city.

As an architect, I'd rather things you put in your house (and in the city even) be made by a real architect. So I'm not a fan of story teller items being so diverse when it could be architects that provide those goods. So for that reason, I'm have to say no too.

So instead of putting forward your own PV to suggest such an option, which I would support, you decided to be petty and go with "No one should get to have cake if I can't be the one to bake it."

Ha, not trying to be petty. My apologies if it looks that way. I don't support it anyway as I don't like story teller props. But I have to write something in order to vote.

I'm a fan of any assets that makes the world look more alive and lived in. I do agree with you that I wish more of the stuff out there that was available could be player-made instead. I don't think divvying out the ST items out to the different professions to make for deco is a bad idea at all, but it would be quite a bit more work than this PV proposes. So, a longer period to implement and probably a lower priority.

I would rather see them switch them to player made items rather than remove a timer. The more things players can craft the better for the server.

The fun of storyteller items indoors is they're like party deco. It's OK that they go away indoors.
Some these items ( but not all) are already available as player crafted items.

I like this idea, but id rather have architects or whomever be able to craft this. Can we implement missions or something to have them unlock these things? Or, as a combo of both thoughts, if you want the items to be permanent, an architect can "slice" the storyteller token somehow? So if youre throwing a party, its temporary. If you want it forever, you need to get a crafter involved.
