Proposal
When Right Clicking an NPC I should be shown an option in the radial Menu (Right Click) to make a waypoint Using that NPCs name and location (X.Y.Z) instantly/Automatically. This could extend to any selectable item in game.
Justification
When you are out an about working on a specific thing, such as pilot, and need a handy waypoint to the pilot trainer, this idea would remove friction of having to manually create a waypoint and naming it.
Motivation
I noticed by default all NPC entities have at least one radial function, so i believe the feature is halfway there.

I have been doing pilot missions and constantly have to go from space to trainer/Mission giver then back to space. Sometimes i just flat out forget where that NPC is. It hit me that maybe i should make a way point, then the idea came, why can i not right click and get one?
GUI + Quality of Life addition :alien:

That's an interesting idea. I've gotten so used to /wp Pilot Train (or whatever i need) that I never considered a radial option.

In the meantime, something I do to help with pilot. Launch from the nearest starport to the trainer and /homeport back when the mission is finished.

As a new player. (I played live, but consider myself new here) i am unaware of those two tips you list. I feel this would be way more intuitive for everyone. Feels a maximum of two clicks.

I'm in agreement with you. Added my tips for how I get by with existing systems.
