    Previous Quest: << The Downed Ship

    This quests consists of two parts.
    1. Kubaza Beetle Cavern
    2. Old Research Facility (also known as ORF)
    You will need a group in order to complete part 1 of this quest. A group is not needed in part 2, but it will make it easier.

    The dungeons/instances involved in this quest have a lockout timer and are repeatable!
    • Once you enter, the timer starts!
    • Do NOT enter the dungeon/instance until you have a group and are ready!

    Description:
    The capital ship's AI has informed you that the ship's systems are too damaged in order to find the information you require. It does have knowledge of an Old Republic facility not far from the crash site that is no longer in use but probably has the information. With your help the AI will be able to use the information stored within the facility to find out how to help the miners. Establish a remote link between the downed cruiser and the facility.

    Recommended combat level: 80 and with a group

    Part I: Kubaza Beetle Cavern​


    Before entering the Kubaza Beetle Cavern, here is some information on what awaits you.
    • This dungeon/instance is timed at an hour
      • After the hour you will be locked out until the daily reset
    • This will not be easy - be buffed and bring Food
    • If your group happens to wipe, you are allowed to re-enter the dungeon/instance, given that the timer has not expired.
    Summary of Instance
    • The task in this dungeon/instance is to protect the Relay Repair Droid
    • Each Kubaza Beetle Lair has 50,000 health
    • The Kubaza Beetle Drones have ~6,500 health
    • The Kubaza Beetle Foreman has 70,000 health and does a lot of AoE damage (1.5k-2k per hit)
    • The Kubaza Defender Beetles heal the Kubaza Beetle Foreman
    • When Kubaza Beetles die, they will sometimes explode, dealing AoE damage, be careful
    Once you are ready, head to the Kubaza Beetle Cavern with your group. When you are all ready, click on the doors to enter the dungeon/instance.

    When you load in, you will notice a Relay Repair Droid. It will travel around the dungeon/instance to build markers, which the beetles will attempt to destroy.

    You the provided map to help you navigate through through the Beetle Cavern.
    • E: Entrance/Exit
    Here are the order of operations when you enter:
    1. Destroy the first Kubaza Beetle Lair
    2. Destroy the second Kubaza Beetle Lair
    3. Destroy the third Kubaza Beetle Lair
    4. Destroy the fourth Kubaza Beetle Lair
      • Once the final lair is destroyed, kill all remaining Kubaza Beetle Drones and Kubaza Beetle Workers
      • New beetles will periodically spawn and rush the Relay Repair Droid as it continues to build markers, you must protect it
    5. Once the Relay Repair Droid has built all eleven markers, the Kubaza Beetle Foreman and four Kubaza Defender Beetles will spawn
      • Kill the four Kubaza Defender Beetles
      • After the Kubaza Defender Beetles are dead, kill the Kubaza Beetle Foreman
    Once you kill the Kubaza Beetle Foreman, you will get the Kubaza Bane Badge.

    Tip: Before you leave the dungeon/instance, be sure to pick-up the collection item.

    You will now need to head back to the bridge of the crashed capital ship and click on the Working Terminal. This will update the quest. Continue to Part II: Old Research Facility.

    Part II: Old Research Facility​


    Before entering the Old Research Facility, here is some information on what awaits you.
    • This dungeon/instance is timed at an hour
      • After the hour you will be locked out until the daily reset
    • This is possible to solo, but buffs and gear are highly recommended
    • If you or your group happens to wipe, you are allowed to re-enter the dungeon/instance, given that the timer has not expired.
    Summary of Instance
    • The task in this dungeon/instance is to get the factory back up and running
    • The very first part of this quest bugs VERY often
      • I highly recommend a single player to do the first step, to update the quest for everyone
      • If the quest does happen to bug out, you will need to wait until it resets
    • The Ancient Xandank and Ancient Tulrus do NOT need to be killed
      • They do NOT deathblow
    Once you are ready, head to the Old Research Facility with your group. When you are all ready, click on the doors to enter the dungeon/instance.

    • E: Entrance/Exit
    Here are the order of operations when you enter:
    1. First floor - Click on the Power Access Terminal to turn the power on
      • Use the tilde key(~) to bring up the radial menu on the Power Access Terminal and select "Activate Power"
      • Once you click "Activate Power", you will get another pop-up menu asking if you want to restore power
      • Do NOT click this popup menu until AFTER you get an update
    2. Second floor - Open the Storage Chest to retrieve the Access Key Card
    3. Second floor - Inspect the Journal Screen in order get a "Security Code"
    4. Second floor - Access the Security Systems Desk to "Override Security"
    5. Third floor - Access the Ventilation System to "open" it
    6. Third floor - Activate the Air Filtration System
    7. Third floor - Grab the Spare Computer Parts
      • The Ancient Tulrus(AT) does NOT need to be killed
        • It does NOT deathblow
    8. First floor - Access the Main System and "Install the parts" then "Reboot the system"
      • The Ancient Xandack(AX) does NOT need to be killed
        • It does NOT deathblow
    9. Second floor - Converse with Terminal Delta-5
    Once you finish conversing the Terminal Delta-5, you will get the Old Republic Seeker Badge.

    Tip: Before you leave the dungeon/instance, be sure to pick-up the two collection items.
    1. C1: UR-G8 Pistol
    2. C2: AK-Prime Rocket Launcher - Ancient Tulrus Room

    This completes the quest and you will receive the next quest in the questline automatically.
