If CoB doesn't let you trigger it with a ranged weapon equipped, then the buff shouldn't remain. when you switch weapons. Alternatively, allow it to trigger with a ranged weapon equipped and remove the exploit. i.e it should work for everyone or no-one, and not be acceptable by weapon swapping.

There are certain abilities in the game which are intended for certain professions i.e carbineer suppression fire can only be used when using a carbine - good.
If you try to use CoB with a ranged weapon equipped, it won't work. If however you equip a melee weapon, use CoB and then switch to a ranged weapon, the CoB buff will remain on. It shouldn't work this way.

The issue is ranged classes are using a workaround to being more tanky. CoB is intended to be used as a melee and a tank. Using this exploit is giving some people a big advantage and shouldn't be possible.
My views on the matter. It's an unfair exploit. Let's make it work for everyone or work for no-one.
