Proposal
Healing Efficiency is not useful and scales horribly. This makes buffs and equipment and anything in the future that gives it pretty bad, and somewhat useless in general.

Recommendations:

  1. Make it increase Healing Speed when you reach the medium hard cap instead of increasing healing amount.

  2. Healing Efficiency instead adds +3 to single target healing, +2 to AOE healing, and +1 to Infusions.

  3. Convert all Efficiency in Medic, Doctor, CM, Force Sensitivity to Potency.

  4. Change Heightened Senses (Healing) boxes to a statistic that works for Normal and Jedi Healing.

Justification
There are four justifications I can think of at the top of my head.

  1. I would like to see proper scaling of the professions. Potency is the only thing that works it seems so the journey from 4xxx to Master is a huge leap. For example, I see no reason to go 4xxx Doctor and not be a Master because of the huge jump in healing amount and the skill Master gets you. This is why the Jedi design is so good in my eyes.

  2. Currently, Healing Efficiency is one of the worst scaled statistics in the game, more-so on par similarly to what general stats used to be, you gain so much at higher levels that having an extra 75 raises my healing by a whopping 9 points, rather pathetic i'd say. This is to my main big heals too, not like Infusions.

This makes Mustafar Crystal Buff, Aitha (Drink), Healing Strength +15% (Inspiration), Healer's Touch Gloves (Mustafar), Ice Pendant (Village), 4xxx Doc/CM, and 1xxx/3xxx Heightened Senses... well 4xxx is a lot so it at least adds 9 points but the others might as well say: Does nothing. I don't even think the Ice Pendant would give me 1 healing point, for example. The quest is a newb trap.

To hit this useless cap, you don't even need to be a Master Doctor or CM, you can hit it by simply being 4xxx and having good gear.

  3. Due to how it is, the bracelet that adds 2 Healing Potency offers more healing benefit than the entire 4xxx DOC line.

  4. Its extremely confusing to new players to read that it increases healing by 1% when it doesn't after getting some starter gear, even the gear from the legacy quest will put you past 100 and past that point.
Motivation
I have always liked making these posts, and I really want these items to do something. It really feels like I have not much to look forward to in terms of gear or things like the force sensitive tree.
To clarify, any recommendations I suggested would not change their respected numbers as they are, only making gaining items and bonuses from other sources actually work.
