Player run casinos and gambling
This idea/suggestion has been flagged as Not Implemented because of a lack of popularity, lack of interest, lack of feasibility, or other determination by the Development Team, so the suggestion will not be implemented. Proposal
Make player run in-game gambling/casino's possible with already in-game casino furniture.
Justification
In-game items exist that are casino themed/gambling themed. Correct me if I am wrong, but you could play certain gambling games on live? Haven't tried here yet.
Motivation
Think it'd be cool and another type of event, either have casino nights or whatever, possibility to win big, etc. Just more community engagement. Also, gambling and casinos exist and have been part of Star Wars for some time.
Is it possible to take some of the in-game casino furniture items, make them available to players, and make them actual work as gambling games? I know we can't fully play Pazaak or Sabacc, but maybe something similar that is like a blackjack game or roullette or something? Would that be possible? Could be a cool concept to have player run casino's or gambling games in Cantina's for events. Perhaps the owner of the building its in or city takes a cut, as is normal for casinos/the house? Maybe gate some of the items behind collections or something as part of the next new update?

I wouldn't mind seeing this. My luck sucks so I wouldn't gamble but I won't stop others from it.

I would like to add maybe make the machines craftable by Architects??
 
Thanks for your suggestion! A big expansion coming with Nar Shaddaa includes casino functionality so we don’t intend to add this ability to player houses at this time. Players will also have the opportunity to invest in ownership of the Nar Shaddaa casino for a share of the profits.
