- Proposal
- I propose that on the Planetary maps the Shuttleports in player cities that are not active yet be shown as a different icon or color "pin" on the map.
- Justification
- A player does not know a town's shuttleport is inactive until they try to purchase a ticket from the terminal. At that time, and that time only, the player is notified that "The departure location is not valid". They aren't out any credits, just time.
- Motivation
- It is frustrating to have completed a mission and drive over to the nearest city wih a shuttleport, only to then find out it is inactive.
It is especially frustrating when youcould have just used the ITV in the first place, but thought to save a few credits by driving 3000m or so (only a few minutes).
You pull up, and then realize it isn't available yet.
I do not have an issue with them showing on the map, but there should be some sign that they are not active just yet.
Currently a player looks at the Planetary Map and can see all the cities dotting the landscape. The BH (or any player) tracks their target and neutralizes the bounty.
As luck would have it, there is a town just 3000m away from the kill. Nice! I'll save some ITV fuel and a few credits and just drive over there!
WHAT?
It's not operational yet?
Then why have it showing just like all the others on the map?
