Patch Notes
1.3.1.1 - Petranaki Tournament III
The server was taken down for maintenance today, and an update was applied. Be sure to close the game and run your launcher. The update notes are as follows:

- Changed DoTs will now apply damage on initial application (in addition to the other damage ticks)
- Changed Squad Leader's Charge buff will now end the effects of any Carbineer Suppressing Fire used against their team

Added The Third Bi-Annual Petranaki Tournament event is now live until April 20! It is a celebration of death, and all participants will be rewarded. You can read the full details here: https://swgr.org/post/the-third-petranaki-tournament.4489/
- If you signed up to be in the tournament, your characters above CL54 will be assigned to their teams and flagged for PvP.
- All GCW and other ground PvP functions will be disabled for the duration of the tournament.
- Participants will receive an Acklay, Nexu, or Reek pin depending on their team, once per account (claimed through the Entitlements system). These pins can be worn on the brooch slot. While on your character (including in inventory), the pin will keep track of your kills, assists, and (most importantly) deaths in the tournament.
- After the tournament, the team pin will be updated with the Bonus Token charges for Heroics and Battlefields, for eligible players that participated. Be sure to have the pin on your character to keep track of your progress and eligibility!
- Teams may be added to the entry list of buildings by adding "team:reek", "team:acklay" or "team:nexu" to the Entry list
- Jedi participating in the tournament will not lose experience points when dying

Added A new season begins! The GCW scores have been reset, and player ranks have been reduced down to Sergeant Major. After the tournament when the GCW is re-enabled, the following changes will be in place:
- Space will now contribute to exactly 25% of the overall planet score(s) including for shared space sectors. This is roughly in line with how it was previously, but has just changed to be more consistent regardless of how many ground regions were present.
- The PvE and PvP special categories on the GCW scoreboard have been removed, leaving only ground and space regions
- Gaining GCW points in a region no longer contributes to the control score. Instead, specific mechanics (listed below) will be the only way to accrue points for your faction.
- Watchtower control: 50 points, applied every 5 minutes, on vulnerable planets.
- Factional Presence - Ground: 10 points applied to a zone, maximum once every 5 minutes, regardless of how many people are there. Must be visible, not swimming, not afk for it to count. Bonus for being in your defended region at Senior Officer Rank (above Major)
- Factional Presence - Space: 10 points applied to a zone, maximum once every 5 minutes, regardless of how many people are there. Bonus for being in your defended region at Senior Officer Rank (above Major)
- PvP kill - Ground: 250 points for the first kill/day, 10 points each subsequent kill on that player. 2-4x bonus if the player was high rank. Only applies once per death, not per kill credit/assist
- PvP kill - Space: 250 points for the first kill/day, 10 points each subsequent kill on that player. 2-4x bonus if the player was high rank. Counts for every member that is present on a Space POB
- Successful Base Bust: 2500 points (no bonuses, multipliers, limits)
- Preventing a Base Bust: 1000 points for disabling a terminal after countdown, or disabling/expiring a Phase Inverter.
- Space Battle Victory: 2500 points for an SF space battle with player participants, for the winning side.
- Space Duty MIssions: Tier 5+ SF Duty Missions only. 20 points applied whenever you receive token payouts, an extra 200 when completed. Bonus applied for being in your defended region at Senior Officer Rank (above Major)
- Watchtower control: 50 points, applied every 5 minutes, on vulnerable planets.
- Changed Players under Combat Level 54 will no longer be able to interact with PvP systems like the Watchtower
- Changed Killing a player at Combat Level 54 and above will now grant GCW points (to players also above CL54)
- Changed Players changing faction status (i.e. going Combatant) will no longer be able to interact with PvP systems like the Watchtower, or grant Factional Presence.
- Fixed Attacking with a pet or droid will now cancel any ongoing faction status change

- Changed Attempting to Slice a lightsaber will no longer cause it to be destroyed
- Fixed The Ancient Jedi Texts may now be placed down as decoration

Carbineer

Changed Suppression Fire now has a 60 second cooldown which can be reduced with Dire Fate set down to 30 seconds

Changed Suppression Fire debuff now lasts 15 seconds, and grants immunity for an additional 15 seconds after
- Changed Rapid Fire now lasts for 15 seconds (from 10) and adds 65 combat speed (from 50)
- Changed Scatter Shot no longer has a maximum range shorter than carbine range, and its damage has been reduced if the user is not holding a carbine
- Changed Full Auto Area no longer has a cooldown (just a GCD)
Combat Medic
- Changed The DoT damage and duration from the Blackbar's DOOM set bonus procs have been increased, and can no longer be resisted
Jedi

Changed Dominate Mind now has a 42 meter range
Pistoleer
- Changed Intimidate Shot now applies the "Improved Intimidate" effect (35% damage reduction and 50 accuracy penalty)
