Lower GCW Rank Requirement of Command Barc

This prefix is applied by a Galactic Senator when they are officially sponsoring a post for consideration by the Development Team.

Unlike other proposals that said to remove the rank requirement, I suggest lowering it instead to Sergeant Major. However the +35 defense buff is removed unless your an officer.

Due to the now new mechanic of rank resets and Fuego's new part system, you can't even pull parts from your vehicle. I spent 15 million on vehicle parts that I don't have access to for four weeks.

Also, players who played the game in previous updates and got the barc have no rank requirement whatsoever and are unaffected by this entirely.

There is no other vehicle in the entire game with this requirement, and the +35 defense buff is so minor that you could remove it anyways and I would see no issue.

I also didn't want to suggest Fuego writing an entire system to pull out vehicle parts due to one vehicle, that is a waste of developer time.
I said I wouldn't post a PV, but the only solution I have otherwise is to send a ticket to customer service to pull the parts from my vehicle. I don't believe this was intended as it's the only vehicle in the game that has this limitation.

I didn't want to waste valuable customer service time just because of one vehicle.

Using your senator position to bypass the de facto ban you got due to always posting non sense should be something the devs need to look at .
The fact that you could not get another senator to sponsor your idea says a lot , not only that but Aconite himself already addressed this specific issue

I am not suggesting to remove the rank like the previous PV which was not posted by me. Please do not use the downvote system for something you consider personal, as a jab at me personally.

I am also not the first Senator to make my own PV. Telrain and Fezix also made their own PVs. If there is a new rule it would need to be set here.

I only made the suggestion since a player asked me about it and I thought it was a good idea.

I am not suggesting we remove that requirement at all, please read the post I made.

This issue has already been gone over multiple times. It’s well known these can’t be used without the rank and so this sounds like a lack of foresight not a legitimate issue to fix.

Do you want me to suggest instead that we add an entire system to remove parts from a vehicle from the datapad?

Yes, I also didn't expect the system to be changed under my feet. A lack of foresight? I needed my vehicle for the tournament and I was told that it was going to be done after the tournament. So I planned on pulling my parts after it was about to end, having a vehicle that is much faster is a huge boon in PvP.

I am also very busy. I am clearly not the only player with the issue as well since there are multiple PV's not made by me.

Having a radial option from datapad to just strip all parts would be a nice qol and address the issue without undercutting the stated intent of the command barc restrictions, yes.

Well, the problem I have with that is that takes a lot of coding and time, I actually am working with developers and doing a lot with them. I don't want to make Fuego do all this work for one vehicle when it's the only one in the entire time with this single issue.

However, it clearly affects me a lot currently because a slow vehicle is life and death in PvP right now.

It is also not a good idea to make a vehicle like this with Fuego's vehicle system, it doesn't match up very well. The vehicle should instead have the best parts already in it and not use the system.

Why should it have the best parts in it already? That seems a tad overdoing the reward of attaining that Rank. I would love for my light bending barc to come equipped with all the best parts as well. How about you just submit that ticket and learn from the experience in the future if you are that worried about time and such. Oh and can't you manage the vehicle already to add and remove parts but just not from the datapad? So you just don't want to wait for the rank again to remove the parts and remember to remove them before reset next time?

If I was the only one with the issue, why would there be several PV's by other players with a similar issue.. ????

I am sorry but I only see 1 about the BARC on the first 2 pages and it was not about what you are talking about and Aconite responded and closed it.

I am also very busy
So you are so busy that you need it because it's life and death ,dude at least try to keep your crooked stories straight
 
This is something that has been brought up to me a lot in my relatively short time on the senate.
I do believe that the BARC could use looking at, and hope we can find something that works for the community at large.

How long, on average, does it take to get it?
 
As systems change or are updated in game, it’s good to flag these fringe issues. Never managed to get the command Barc myself.

One for the backlog I reckon.
 
Leave the command BARC alone and make something as wanted from a PVE source, it's your own fault if you didn't remove the parts before the reset
 
But is it a problem really? You can already remove parts from the manage vehicle so it sounds like more of a it would be nice if I didn't have to wait to get the rank again to remove the parts because i forgot to remove them. Sure that would be a decent QoL but not a dire "need" at all. If they adjust this one they would have to adjust the others. Basically if it is something that is quick and easy to do ok go for it as in datapad part management.

The BARC is intended to be an exclusive perk for the status of holding a senior rank. It's not a participation trophy, and not everyone is intended to just have everything in the game they want. See my responses here and here and here which already address this.
