- Proposal
- In the way that most junk/factory items now auto-stack, would like to see the same apply to travel tickets where the destination/arrival points both match. For Starport ticket terminals, would like to see the default screen upon opening it be the travel map of the planet you're on, rather than the galaxy map. (One being able to set what the default is would be even better, to let people choose their preference.) On top of this, a tickbox option to purchase say either x5 or x10 roundtrip tickets in the one transaction I think would be helpful for many.
- Justification
- Currently there isn't any reason or benefit to buying multiple round-trips ticket sets due to the inventory space they take up, which is excessive relative to the "size" other items are, but understandable given the in binary nature of the inventory system where any 1 item = 1 space taken up no matter what. Being stackable I think would at least balance that out a bit more, and if it could be supplemented with an option to buy x5 or x10 roundtrips in the one transaction, this ends up being a QOL enhancement saving players valuable time over a sustained period as this is a very repeatable operation players conduct.
The same time logic apples to having the SP ticket terms defaulting to the planet travel screen rather than the galaxy map. As Mustafar aside, no one has any need to do interplanetary ticket purchases due to the player ship & travel mechanic.
- Motivation
- This would be a quality of life improvement to do current routine/repeated activities more efficiently, in fewer operations, and slightly improving inventory capacity to reflect the relative size of travel tickets.
I'm hoping this is a proposal that wouldn't take too much to implement, as I think it would be a good QOL improvement for every player on something virtually everyone does when they are in-game.
