- Proposal
- Make all rare heroic loot purchasable by a substantial amount of tokens for that heroic. For example, the black sun robe drops in ISD. The black sun robe should be purchasable from the heroic vendor for a large amount of black sun tokens (e.g., 25-50 black sun tokens). Or for example, the the old republic jedi master cloak that drops in HK should be purchasable for a large amount of Mustafar tokens (e.g., 50-100 (a higher value since it's easier to earn Mustafar tokens then regular heroic tokens)).
- Justification
- For those individuals who are dedicated to heroics but are unfortunate enough to never get rare loot after numerous tries, they can spend their tokens and buy the loot instead.
- Motivation
- To promote equal opportunity in obtaining rare loot -- either the easy way in getting a lucky roll or the harder way in consistently doing heroics and purchasing the rare loot via tokens. Without this mechanic, there is a chance that only a slim group of elite players who are lucky in getting rolls will get most of the rare loot.
