Proposal
Drop the arc armour down to to the hundred mark in 3000 to 300
Justification
It will take over 2 years to get a full set off the vendor.
Motivation
Too expensive. It will cost 13000 tokens as it stand. After 10 months you are around 3200. As it stands it would take you 27 months 6o grt that many tokens.
We might be lucky to get one piece in several months. If you have 4 characters that is 12 tokens a day or 36 tokens a month. To get one piece of the armour it will take just over 9 months.

Comment to down vote. Just No.
Token rewards have been trippled already.
Tokens for live events are higher than ever.
You can earn lots of tokens for testing upcoming patches on TC.
Not only one but several people did manage to get a full set of ARC Armor even before the increase of tokens and it's even easier now.

No

There are plenty ways to get these tokens. Let us not downgrade the value. If you want more tokens then participate and help the server. We have gotten good payouts for weeks/months of testing on test center to make this game better. I do not want it devalued just because some people are to lazy and can not afford it. Participate, help and get rewarded.

PS: There is always something to test. Current testing phase will reward you like 800 tokens?

So just no

Let me re say that, 9 months to get a single piece. Let that sink in. 27 months to get a full set. It would take you a month to get Mando if you just wanted to grind the credits to buy it. So instead of it taking the original 54 months it's only 27. Months now. It would take you almost 3 months to get a 1000 token one. Please up vote this, the price tag is ridiculously high.

People are not lazy, not everyone has time to sit and test on the test centre. It sounds closer to those without a life are getting rewarded.

Mate if you are only getting the daily token rewards that is on you. There are plenty events you can get these tokens. I have a full suit. Bought half with tokens and half with credits. I have enough tokens for another half suit already.

You are just limiting yourself and being lazy :)

Does that mean everything has to evolve around these kinds of people? I do not think so

All these PVs currently...

You can get up to 800 tokens or so just for testing on TC.
I think we got 200 or 300 tokens on the last server event. (I think it was the costume contest). If you've been there with 2 characters thats 600 tokens.
There where irregular payouts of 100 tokens or so on the Wampe event on christmas.
Let that sink in.

So those with lives are being attacked, stop being so immature. I wish the devs would monitor the pv more often and punish those who's only contribution is to attack someone idea, like calling people lazy. Grow up.

That makes no sense. It is called "players voice". This here to present an idea and then for the community to give input. Upvote/downvote and comment it. I find it a very bad idea. Those with lives. We all have lives hopefully. Logging into TC to test something for one hour per week is a huge time investment to you? Then this discussion gets even more obsolete.
Don't be so sensible when getting negative feedback about your presentation.

All the items on the fortitude vendor are meant primarily as a reward for contributing to the game. That was the original design of fortitude tokens, and it is understandable that not everyone has the time to contribute that way. That is why none of the fortitude items are required to play the game optimally, it’s mainly cosmetics.

Many of these items were introduced to be somewhat rare - and costly. I will say - going from 3000 to 300 is extreme. The daily (recently tripled) login reward is meant to supplement getting involved in events, testing, and other actions that benefit the community (updating the Wiki, etc..). They were not meant to be the sole source of Fortitude token income to purchase these items.

It is also intended that people who acquire these tokens through these various channels are able to purchase things on the behalf of others - and not that a single person should be able to go use tokens to buy everything on the vendor by themselves in a short period of time.

The second things on this vendor are dramatically reduced in cost, or tokens payouts become increasingly common, the value of the tokens, and the actions that reward those tokens become diminished, and I don't believe that is what we are trying to achieve.

I understand there are things in game that people see..and people want fast. It's natural - but it undermines the chase, it reduces the value of the token and vendor - as well as reducing the reliance on each other.

It is a matter of perspective - and if that perspective is based on a single person doing it all themselves - we need to change how we look at things.

I am a casual player myself. I play, maybe 2 hours a night at most, across 3 toons: 1 is a jedi hopeful stuck in the village XP grind, 1 is a DE/Architect trying to learn the DE side, and the other is a MDoc/MCM/MMedic working to get keyed to heal in heroics.

I've been playing for 7 months or so.
I try to do a few player events when I can. I like the beast tournaments in Nilbog, the Senator events, the costume contest, Wampa, etc...
I do not test on TC.
And yet, I have gotten over 3000-4000 tokens just from playing. Most of these are from the time before the tripled payout on dailies.

It is easy to get the tokens if you just play. I don't do anything like a "hardcore" gamer.
Some of the perks for the higher payout on tokens are for those that put in the work and the grind. Not everything should be available to everybody 'just because'.

If you want the gear...do the work. That's my opinion.

I'm not talking down to anyone or anybody's playstyle. But, things shouldn't be cheap just so everyone has access to them. Some things are desired because they take so much work.

While I could see a slight decrease as more cosmetic items are continuously added, 3000 to 300 would be an absolute slap in the face for those who have regularly played the game every day for months or years to try and grind those rare items as cosmetics.

You can collect quite a few more tokens than you get daily (9 without a Jedi, 12 with a Jedi Slot) by simply attending player run events, server events, etc.

Agree with many comments here. There are a lot of avenues to get tokens. 3000 does seem steep, but it would feel very disheartening to those who spent the time to obtain them already, and at least not give them something back to close that gap. Little less than a year of only logging in characters for tokens (depending on the piece(s) you want to purchase), but as mentioned, helping with testing, bug smashing, participating in events can increase the amount you get.

Some things are a status symbol, and this can be one of them.

Little less then a year, please share that math with us. 12 tokens a day if you have 4 characters= 320 tokens a month=3200 tokens in 10. Tell me how did you arrive at 13000 tokens by just daily logging in in a year.

Well maybe not down to 300, but diwn from 3000. It is still a lot

It wasn't that, it was when you start attacking people and calling them lazy. I login every day and I do things, but yet I am lazy. Yet you have another post pvpers upvoting for sets because they don't want to do the content. Tell me you can at least break the armour down and have it remade with health etc. Otherwise 3000 is super expensive for basically cosmetics.

And you reply by saying only people without a life are able to get this set or a lot of tokens. You say you login every day. I often play like once per week and still got all this crap.
You can recraft the armor into any of the 3 types if I remember correctly. I do not see a point why you want to add health etc and wear it. People do not wear mando armor either

All items on the fortitude token vendor are priced intentionally for rarity. Logging in daily isn't intended as the primary source of fortitude tokens. If you want more, you can do the other things that earn them, like participating in events, joining testing groups on the test center, contributing to the Wiki, etc. As noted on the Fortitude Wiki Page, Fortitude is a community recognition program, so the primary ways to earn them involve supporting the community. The awards are not meant to be earned through normal game content.
