Proposal
To have an option to reset previously completed quest lines & content
Justification
To provide replay value of older solo content such as original iconic theme parks
Motivation
To create more replay value within the game and also provide an additional way to earn solo xp
Hi All,

I am ultimately looking for the communities feedback on the possibility to reset and be able to replay old solo theme park content such as Legacy, Nym's, Jabba Palace, Imperial & Rebel theme parks

If your like me, I have completed all this content quite some time ago across multiple toons and I have been thinking how nice it would be to be able to replay all these theme parks without having to delete and refresh a character to do it. It would also offer an alternative way to not only revisit old iconic content but also solo earn XP without the requirements of needing spin groups etc.

Obvious exclusions to be considered would be musty quest lines due to the end game buffs etc these provide, so are there any more quest lines like this which need to be considered? Anyway something like this could be abused?

I guess the replay would need to remove loot reward in general or it would be abused for weapons and buff items etc to sell.

But even if its just an alternative to spinning I'm in

Thats kind of part of the reason for the pv, I mean the older content I don't think there is much which would cause any major problems. But certainly stuff like musty would. But just trying to identify if and what could possibly be abused.

"I can't be bothered to kill lava fleas anymore" - I mean if you wanna do this, easier way is just to increase jedi xp modifier because quest xp is kinda nuts

Never done a theme park on my jedi, only musty stuff. So no need to generalise. But I change my normal professions alot.

It's more pointed at dagis, you would catch him killing lava fleas weekly because he decides to swap builds
haha I was going to say do you know how many times I have killed those things!!! I mean I would argue I have changed my template more than even Booyai on my Jedi.

Could bring them in line with more modern content by rewarding tokens for completes like a Jabba Token, and have a vendor for those tokens.

If there was a severe time limitation placed on these repeatable quest, AKA you can repeat a themepark once every 6 months, then fine. But as it is, if people can limitlessly spam Themepark content to level up/swap specs, nobody will spin, further reducing the social aspect of this game.

This is a sandbox MMO, socializing is one of the core concepts of it. We shouldn't be attempting to undermine that, in my opinion. No vote either way.

I have a feeling the template idea they are talking about doing is going to impact that aspect hard.

I agree, but there's also a point to be made for it. You can have a spec for group content and solo content, and swap at will. Whereas trying to do that for say Jedi on a daily basis is literal insanity.

Both sides have a point in that argument.
