- Proposal
- Allow players to add a designation/label to their Flight Computers and Astromechs to make it easier to differentiate between them. This will allow players to manage multiple command setups and assigned them to specific ships. Also, need to update the "Manage" ship view to see which of the designated Flight Computers (or Astromechs) are assigned to a given ship. This works initially, but eventually the "Loaded" computer fails to be displayed in the "Manage" view.
- Justification
- Players need an effective solution for managing multiple Flight Computers (or Astromechs) for POB play, grinding, PVE, PVP, mining, and casual play.
- Motivation
- Players are encouraged to customize their Flight Computers and Astromechs by choosing what programs to load, including obtaining programmed chips/modules from other player factions which are single-use. However, if you can't easily tell which computer is assigned to which ship, it becomes difficult to manage multiple setups and this discourages dynamic ship configurations.
Having several ships with the same Tier of flight computer (or astromech) makes it difficult to tell which one is loaded on which ship.
