Proposal
Add the ability to see selected group quest waypoints even if not on the same quest. This suggestion is for both ground and space.
Justification
Makes it easier for groups to help out on quest that they are not currently on or assist in getting players to the same quest step as their own.
Motivation
Better group coordination and personal waypoint management
Sometimes, like when we are in a spin group. There is an ability for seeing the closest group quest waypoint. This would be helpful when friends are helping on other quests too. I know that you can share the waypoint marker and they can make their own but this can lead to having too many waypoints if you forget to delete them.

The way we did it back in the day is when someone was doing a quest they took the lead. everyone else followed.

Thank you for the feedback, and the feedback on all the rest of my posts. I understand how it was done in the past as I too played SWG back in the day. Luckily the R3 crew is more open to suggestions for game and QoL improvements than SOE was.

The problem with allowing the player with the quest to lead you to the waypoint is if someone else is driving a multiplayer ship or vehicle.

Another point is that sometimes when you launch into space or someone hyperspaces to the area you are, you do not always and up right next to each other and having a shared waypoint would save time from having to find each other first, then head towards the mission.

in space its nearly always better to fly urself if ur doing a qeust going as a gunner not so good spezial if its a mission were u need t inspect or dock then u cant do it as gunner for that aspect is only half way usefull with the see other waypoints.

and in space theres the /beacon command were can met up with others .
