Artisan Any way to make Input Hoppers auto-stack items like containers?

Proposal
Make crafting stations input hoppers auto-stack items placed inside like other containers.
Justification
Just a QoL kind of tweak.
Motivation
It seems like it was an oversight. It'd be quite helpful to not have multiple stacks of the same resource in the same input hopper unless we really wanted it that way.
Yeah, that would be useful for sure.
