- i propose that combat medic offensive abilities ranging from debuffs to DOT effects, be changed, so they tax the action pool rather than having a heavy mind cost.
- Justification
- New Combat medic skills such as Nerve gas, which is an offensive AOE ability, granting a bleed dot. Require action and a minimal mind cost. This allows for a more smoother synergy between offensive skills and heals. Yet other offensive skills tax the mind pool heavily.
Currently CM debuffs and DOTs require a heavy mind tax and because of this, A combat medic is left with 20% mind pool after a singular dps rotation of skills. This is too much and leaves little extra for the CM to heal any pressure.
Skills that tax the mind pool so heavily should not miss, its like heals missing or glancing.
- Motivation
- Changing the mind tax to action on the offensive skills, will allow the combat medic to be a more viable dps choice, currently players avoid using CM dots, because they are so weak its not worth risking the mind use with a miss.
This will modernize the class, without over compensating the recent reduction in strength
