Open Space Civillian Protection Guild quest

Proposal
remove the gate stoping you getting the imp or reb parts of the quest
Justification
Make space badges available at the moment if you start as a freelance you can not get either imp or reb badge
Motivation
enable all to get badges as you can on ground content
As ground you can switch between reb and imp and do both theme parks could it be possible to switch between reb and imp and get the badges for the Kash space quest and mabe move the ships to a vendor to be bought than as a quest reward so its also a credit sink

I was looking for the quote to link it, didn't find it. But, Aconite has stated that if he makes a change to this mission, it will be to nerf it so we can only get one ship, not allow it to be run three times to get all three ships.
 
would be happy if they removed the ships to a vendor where you had to buy them add them to a credit sink
its more that why restrict space when a ground can swap factions and do both theme parks where someone new starts it as a neutral before going faction then mean they can never get the faction ship?

If a new player starts the quest even the first mission as a freelance they are then locked out of a faction side even if they go factioned before getting to the factional part of the quest but if someone faction starts it they can do facion and freelance that seem right?

You can drop Neutral pilot and pick up Reb/Imp pilot at annytime... This is how you get Ace of Aces... you master all 9 pilots tracks.

I think Fiz means it should be possible to be able to switch and do the CPG quests in any order without being gated and having to do faction side first. Plus, he knows how to get Ace of Aces, he has AoA on all three characters.

A player can't run the Rebel/Imperial Theme Parks without being said faction. And if he is AoAx3 then why didn't he get these when he was runnning the faction pilot parts of AoA? Also if he has done AoA three times going back just to get those 2 ship should be a walk in the park.

If you do even the first mission of escorting the droid ship as neutral you are then locked in and cant do the faction reb or imp even when you are a reb pilot before the point of doing the vette in kash space
well i guess if they bring in decay then these ships will become extinct anyway

to get only 1 ship per char would be ok to me, the more problem i see in it is the badge thing the general lock of the other 2 badges if u start freelancer first and 1 if u start with reb or imp thats only in space this way everything else is another concept a change that u would not expect if u did other things first like most do .... so it might be frustration to most players who then hit this fact
