- Proposal
- A color crystal should not have a designated attribute (e.g., force regeneration for light green, force damage for red, etc.). Rather, when a jedi tunes a color crystal, the color crystal will reveal a random attribute for that color crystal. For example, depending on the color crystal, a light green color crystal can yield force regeneration for one color crystal of that color and yield lightsaber damage for another color crystal of that color.
- Justification
- Having designated attributes based on a color crystal's color severely limits a jedi's aesthetic preferences and identity. Having arbitrary attributes attached to a color limits jedi players' roleplaying, aesthetic preferences, and identity in the Order. Moreover, from a Star Wars lore perspective, a jedi meditates on the force to find and tune their crystal. A jedi crystal and attributes are not preordained. The randomized function promotes this theme found in Star Wars lore.
- Motivation
- To promote aesthetic flexibility and jedi individualism and be more consistent with Star Wars lore.
