Not Implemented No condition loss on battleground deaths

This idea/suggestion has been flagged as Not Implemented because of a lack of popularity, lack of interest, lack of feasibility, or other determination by the Development Team, so the suggestion will not be implemented. Once a suggestion has been flagged this way, the decision is final. Although the issue may be raised again in the future after a six month cooldown. Proposal
Do away with condition loss on battlefield deaths.
Justification
People can have worry free pvp practice without waiting around sf for someone to show up.
Motivation
People want to learn pvp without condition loss or sitting around afk waiting for someone or someones to show up.
I figured it'd be pretty cool and give people more incentive to learn pvp if battlegrounds didn't cause condition loss on death. I know pvp isn't supposed to be addressed til phase 2, but a lot of people would like to dabble in pvp but are scared of condition loss and dont want to sit sf forever waiting, or simply don't have the time. So i figured battlegrounds would be a good way to organize fast pace pvp eith no downsides of condition loss.

This has my backing 100% It brings it on the par with space pvp.. (when you die in space PvP you respawn with all your parts fully repaired)

Yea - this is common sense for getting more people involved in PvP. Thanks for bringing it up! It would be nice if Player created PvP events had a way to implement this as well.

Change that to pvp deaths dont take condition loss. I know id do it alot more often or try to if i didnt wreck my gear. Its not like pve and multiple deaths can occur. Having condition loss absolutely deters participation!
Weapons being still burned out on use as that will stay a similar rate to pve.

Have you played battlegrounds before? If so im sure you know theres a lot of deaths in each one just like a WoW battlegound and you cant insure gear in the bg so you can easily burn through a set a gear condition.

well i dont craft so wont effect me but then i also dont play a 20 yr old game and call myself a pvper so i guess its retaliative. Just keep in mind what anti decay did to crafting in nge . And coupled with lower res harvests be ready to get way overcharged for armor and weapons.

You will still lose condition in open world pvp, this is just a measure to engage more people into pvp without penalties, also no one has played a battleground since they removed the rewards over 4 months ago so this is a good way to let people adquire expertise and enjoy this aspect of the game

If there is no gain whatsoever no rewards rank gained or anything I would be fine with it. If anything is added to the battle grounds that reward you then decay would need to be added in

yea i agree but i dont think they will add rewards again till 2.0 so for now it would work fine

I am with Icy on this although not sure why Rozay gave it a thumbs up but as long as there is no rewards or RANK or anything earned from doing it then sure no loss. That said you can still gain ranks up until sgt. major if i am not mistaken so remove that and play away. Or remove all loss of condition for any deaths from pve not in wide open areas so more players will pve. Also for the art lovers lets drop the paintings cost in Eisley so more will collect those....OH and for the explorers no shuttle fees so more players will explore plz and thank you. Almost forgot no maint fees on houses and harvesters so more players will have them to. Anybody here see the pattern yet. Cash sinks are needed and if you cannot afford repairs then do other content to fix it then go back to pvp.

WoW has 90% reduced decay on pvp death; think something like that makes more sense than none.

biggest issue is you cant insure the gear inside the BFs... so its really issue to burn an entire set of gear in a couple bfs

We added insurance terminals, but we are not going to allow 0 condition damage.
