Proposal
allow for the creation of personal droid insurance terminal bots
Justification
Droid engineers could have new methods for generating money, since most droids seem to sell for very low prices and discourages DEs from pursuing their craft further, Players would be encouraged to attempt and run more end-game content if they feel that the risk is worth the reward.
Motivation
Droid engineers need new end-game methods for generating revenue besides crafting level 60 combat droids. Droid baths and enhancements seem to be rarely utilized by players in general; which in turn can turn away future DEs from fulfilling this vital class/role. This change would motivate players to play more, both combat and crafters. Happier players could then in turn help grow the game by recruiting new gamers via positive word of mouth.
It might be useful if droid engineers could craft personal insurance terminal droids. This would allow players to insure and preserve their weapons and armor easier, in difficult situations, such as heroics. This could also save the devs time in terms of creating stationary insurance terminals located in the beginning of various heroics and bunkers, caves etc. Droid engineers could make some money with these personal bots while still allowing credits to be "burned" out of the economy, since players would still have to pay the same rate as with stationary insurance terminals. I think it would also help encourage players to pursue end-game content while incentivizing droid engineers to craft highly desired droids. Maybe the schematic to learn such a droid could be placed behind an advanced questline that droid engineers could complete; maybe also reward them with a badge? New graphics wouldn't even be needed and could be placed into mouse or protocol droids. Just a random thought. Thank you.

Interesting idea. Would it be a module that takes up a slot during crafting or would it be something you can add to a droid like the dancing droid module?

Im all for more utility with droids as i think that is the professions strong suit.

I think it would be helpful if it could be added to any droid like the dancer modules. This way, droid engineers and players would not be effectively "punished" for any pre-existing droids they might have sitting around.
