Welcome to the Restoration Player City Spotlight where we sit down to talk with the mayor of one of our awesome player cities giving you, our dear readers, the opportunity to learn more about one of the server's great player cities.
In this episode we head back to Dantooine where we visit Solarus, an outlaw's haven and home to both organized racing and arena fighting.
Can you tell us a little bit about your city for those who may not have had the opportunity to visit?
Solarus was founded on the last day of the year 2024 on Dantooine. We chose Dantooine because it's a beautiful planet that has a great vibe and is very nice with the planet's natural wildlife and many other qualities. I wanted a place that was unique and alluring with the yellow and purple fields of grass, stunted trees offset by ponds and lakes, and gorgeous blankets of sky.
What city specialization did you chose and why?
We are an Improved Job Market, because who doesn't like credits? We even set up a terminal network at all 4 cardinal directions to bounce back and forth which makes doing missions much easier.
Have you hosted any events in your city? If so, tell us about them.
No, we have not hosted any formal events yet, but we do plan on hosting races on our municipal race track and fights in our battle arenas.
Any unique locations in your city that make it special?
The first would be the Blue Moon Cantina.
We also have the Solarus inner city racetrack where we race swoops and other vehicles.
For those who like watch and/or participate in fighting we have the platform arena and the forest team battle arenas.
Anything else you would like to share?
Solarus is a beautiful and dangerous place, home to pirates, lowlifes, and anyone else you can think of. We ask no questions and give no names! If you're looking to get in on some fights or just race your swoop, we'll be here!
