Not Implemented Artisan Tailor-jewelry-sockets

This idea/suggestion has been flagged as Not Implemented because of a lack of popularity, lack of interest, lack of feasibility, or other determination by the Development Team, so the suggestion will not be implemented. Justification
LEVEL restrictions.
Motivation
My crafter cannot wear any stat jewelry due to level restrictions.
Proposal
Add a chance for jewelry to get a socket. (maybe if they do you can limit the use to crafters only in order to control combat)
I can make jewelry for looks but not for stats?

I think tailors should be able to craft socket necks and left wrist bracelets to help there sales(y)(y)(y)

Crafters get screwed on stat items because of level restrictions. Let someone make socketed jewelry through some method, even if it has a max level (6?)) on it.

How would mastering 3 crafter professions endow you with combat skills? Maybe a separate leveling system that is non-combat.

CL doesn't mean skill in combat. If you are CL 80 with no abilities. It is simply leveling up why would a trader be considered not leveled when fully specced? Would allow use of jewelry in itself. Not to mention you wouldn't constantly aggro anything red due to CL based aggro

CL literally means Combat Level.

I don't see why loot jewelry has a combat level are we afraid of someone making an op level 50 character wearing level 80 jewelry.

This is an important topic, especially with the upcoming nerf to remove broken jewelry and items you are no longer high enough level to equip (even though it literally says "level to equip", not "level to wear" and has been this way since the dawn of time in SWG).

give us traders character levels and this issue will be solved as we could then wear what is looted. Theres no downside to giving CL to traders. More consumers and more options. Theres no instance of crafted jewelry with sockets in swg history and why traders need to stay lvl 1 is beyond me. As i sure am not lvl 1 being master of 3 advanced professions.
Traders can then buy armor and weapons creating more demand, and allowing more customization. As well as allowing traders use of jewelry. Also i will not suffer instant deathblows while trying to complete tradet content… ie wod etc

I was killed by a biz natch spawned close to an alter and by an NS guarding prologue quest area.

I agree with this solution as well, it would also keep the cap on jewelry stats at a looted +23 instead of reverse engineered +35 with sockets and retain something worthwhile to loot on this server (jewelry), which we desperately need more of.

Your mention of "no instance of crafted jewelry with sockets in swg history" makes me wonder also if there's every been a previous instance of 0 condition clothing/jewelry being forcefully removed from players by developers.
