Open Other The Ability To Share Quests

Allow the sharing of certain types of quest with players who are grouped.

Repeatable quests, quests that are not Legacy/Theme Park specific, or quests that do not have prior objective requirements attached to them should be shareable among group members.

A modified quest journal would allow players to see who in their group is on the same quest, who is eligible for sharing of the quest, and who is not.

This could be accomplished with four simple graphics. First would be an icon in the journal that represents the quest. If the icon is Green, that group member is on the same quest as you are. If if is Blue, the player is on the quest but is not at the same phase as you are. If the icon is Yellow, they are not on the quest and the quest can be shared. Finally, if the icon is Gray, the player is not eligible for sharing.

There could also be a fifth icon to show that someone has already completed the quest previously.

Add a share quest button to the journal. Player highlights the quest and hits the button, offering the quest to those who do not have it and are eligible.

Obviously, there are various ways this option could be tweaked for implementation. Please feel free to add your ideas to make this proposal more appealing to the staff and other players.

Many people hate having to wait on other people to get a quest started. This would help to ease those frustrations by reducing delays in gaming activity.

The two biggest motivations here would be the saving of time and allowing players to assist groupmates with quests. It would keep players from having to wait for one or more people to have to go and grab the quest before being able to start.
