Proposal
Ubese armor sets currently is that since they have no shoulder sockets, there's fewer 35s that can be placed into the armor, making it unusable outside of appearance sets after a certain threshold of play.
Justification
It will give more players access to use ubese armor all the way to the top of their play.
Motivation
The motivation is that ubese armor looks cool but can't be used as an equippable armor past a certain threshold of play due to the underlying lack of sockets
The problem exactly with Ubese armor sets currently is that since they have no shoulder sockets, there's fewer 35s that can be placed into the armor, making it unusable outside of appearance sets after a certain threshold of play.

In terms of implementation, if the chestpiece were separated into 3 slots, or were able to divide the chest piece into 3 pieces (one exotic and two non exotic), we would be able to use the armor the same as every other set in the game. This also could apply to the slicing aspect as well to make things consistent.

As someone currently swapping out my Ubese jacket, I concur.

I would suggest removing sockets from bicep and bracer pieces altogether. That way there would be no disparity between different armor sets and armor could also be on par with clothes (shirt, jacket, pants, boots, gloves, headwear)

That might be a reasonable solution, but it would change all the caps dramatically. New crafted stuff wouldn't be as good as old. And likely other unintended consequences.

Also human kinds very strong loss aversion would make that a hard sell.
