Patch Notes
Update 1.3.3 - Point Five Past Lightspeed

The server was taken down for maintenance today, and an update was applied. Be sure to close the game and run your launcher. The update notes are as follows:

A Patch Note IconCombat

  • Changed All healing to Action, Mind, or Force pools is now affected by any Regen penalties that exist from combat debuffs. For example, if a player has a 30% mind regen debuff from Traumatize, they will also receive 30% less Mind from any heals to that pool (like from Revitalize)
  • Changed Snares and Roots that ignore resistance will no longer provide resistance to other snares/roots.
  • Changed Newly created exotics for Critical Hit Reduction will be called Critical Hit Defense, and will reduce the opponent's crit chance by 4% (from around 2%)
  • Changed Bivoli Tempari food now gives up to 5% critical hit reduction with 15min duration and 28 fill

Idiot’s Array

  • Added An Employment Terminal for your very own Chassis Dealer, which can be added to any player house, has been added to the Ace of Aces vendor in the Idiot’s Array. He is not cheap.
  • Added A schematic for a Ship Management Terminal has been added to the Ace of Aces vendor. Players may manage their vessels at this terminal but may not travel or launch into space.
  • Fixed A bug with the Patriot’s YE-4 Gunship movement has been fixed.

Hyperlane Freighters

  • Added As the Galactic Civil War ramps up, reports indicate an increase in traffic along major trade routes. Long-haul Hyperlane Freighters will now periodically emerge from hyperspace while they recharge their hyperdrives and prepare for the next micro-jump. Pilots in the vicinity of a freighter’s arrival will be alerted to their presence and can decide whether or not to take advantage of this fleeting opportunity. Freighters and their escorts carry significant quantities of parts and are known to install premium components from the Kessel system. These high value freighters do not attack on sight, but if provoked, have an escort squadron on standby.
Miscellaneous

  • Changed ISD landing buff will now only applied once per lockout period
  • Fixed An issue for some players preventing the purchase of the Shard of Retaliation and Lair Crystal from the Mustafar Content Vendor has been resolved
  • Fixed The Helping Ridth bunker properly checks for master badges
  • Fixed An issue preventing smugglers from being able to communicate with wookiee NPCs has been resolved

  • Added Voidfest Event is now Live!
    • Double space tokens are active during the duration of the event!
    • A new temporary vendor, Rash Nunes, can be found at the bar on Nova Orion Station. Jealous of his brother’s successful business, Rash has sifted through Kash’s vast warehouse of supplies and acquired high quality manufacturer parts that can be purchased with Station Tokens (Space Battles) for a premium price
    • Player versus player space kills will be gloriously announced in the Discord event spam channel

A Patch Note IconItems and Equipment

  • Added The War Intelpad now has a new menu item for “Factional Space Activity.” This function will bring up a table with all recent space flagged factional presence, the approximate sector within each space zone, and how many players of each faction are in that zone. This is updated every five minutes. A Sector is the closest 1,000 x, y, z coordinate – for example 2689, -1107, 4339 will be displayed as Sector (3, -1, 4)
  • Added Midlithe Crystals from the Nova Orion System are now able to be stored in Token Boxes
  • Changed The Treasure Bar Pieced furniture set has had its names updated to be more consistent and descriptive
  • Changed All credit chips are now No Trade
  • Changed Items listed on the Bazaar terminals at the Sanctum Jensaarai will no longer appear on terminals outside that region
  • Fixed Kinetic PSGs now appear in their proper category on bazaar terminal

A Patch Note IconMiscellaneous

  • Added All players may now hatch and call pets even if they are not Creature Handlers. If a pet is called and you are either not a Creature Handler or are too low level to call the pet, the pet will not be able to participate in combat, but can still follow you around or use non-combat abilities.
  • Added A new trade is available on the Chronicle Reward Vendor to exchange 1 Gold Chronicles Token for 1,000 Silver Chronicles Tokens
  • Changed Reduced the post-combat delay that it takes to call Droids
  • Changed Mayors may no longer pack up buildings within their borders until their city reaches 5 citizens (to qualify for Rank 1).
  • Fixed Acquiring Novice Chronicler from C-3PO now properly grants the Starter Chronicler Kit

A Patch Note IconProfessions

Berserker

  • Changed Reduced Unquenchable (Relentless set) cooldown to 60 seconds from 120 and added 25% critical hit reduction

Brawler

  • Added All Advanced melee professions now have a third "optional" prereq; now every tree only requires the weapon line + any other melee line.
  • Added The One Handed Weapon line (x4xx, to access Fencer) now additionally acts has an optional prerequisite for Doctor, allowing access to that tree for fewer points

Combat Medic

  • Added Up to 3% Critical Hit Reduction has been added to the Bio-Suppression line
  • Changed Increased the base chance to hit of all Damage over Time effects

Commando

  • Changed Heavy Weapon Speed will now apply a greater reduction to the modified weapon speed, and additionally some more Heavy Weapon Speed was added to the skill tree. The net effect is that people using Speed exotics will see about a 0.2 Modified Speed improvement on all heavy weapons for "free" (without speed exotics, about 0.075 for free).
  • Changed Remote Detonator will no longer go on cooldown if used while a mine/trap/grenade is down
  • Changed Reduced You'll Regret That armor gain to 2000 from 3000. From now until the end of October, Juggernaut sets purchased before the patch date will be able to be radialed and refunded for another free Jewelry set.
  • Removed Removed Devastation chance from Position Secured. From now until the end of October, Rampart sets purchased before the patch date will be able to be radialed and refunded for another free Jewelry set.
  • Removed Removed Block Value from Standfast

Creature Handler

  • Added Several new pet abilities have been to creature types that had fewer abilities than the rest:
    • Avian: Add Puncture. Kit will be: Claw, Puncture, Slash, Wind Buffet
    • Camel: Add Charge. Add Trample. Kit will be: Bite, Charge, Kick, Spit, Trample
    • Flying Insect/Moth: Add Spit. Kit will be: Bite, Spit, Puncture, Wind Buffet
    • Amphibian/Frog: Add Enfeeble. Kit will be: Bite, Spit, Damage Poison, Enfeeble
    • Ape/Gorilla: Add Bite. Kit will be: Bite, Dampen Pain, Stomp, Shaken
    • Equine/Horse: Add Stomp. Kit will be: Bite, Defensive, Kick, Stomp
    • Simian/Monkey: Add Shaken. Kit will be: Bite, Defensive, Disease, Shaken

  • Added A new "Mourning" mechanic will increase the time to revive a pet after it has been killed multiple times in a short timespan. When a pet is killed, Creature Handlers will get a 5 minute debuff. This debuff stacks up to 10, and after you receive 3 stacks, the time it takes to revive a pet will increase by these amounts:
    • 1-2: No effect
    • 3: 5 additional seconds
    • 4: 10 additional seconds
    • 5: 20 additional seconds
    • 6: 35 additional seconds
    • 7: 50 additional seconds
    • 8: 65 additional seconds
    • 9: 80 additional seconds
    • 10: 110 additional seconds
  • Changed Pet revive mind cost increased to 250
  • Changed Pet sizes have been restored to their original smaller game sizes. This affects about half of the existing creatures.
  • Changed Shock Collars now include a radial menu item to toggle between making the pet smaller or larger
  • Changed Predator set block chance reduced to 4 per piece. From now until the end of October, sets purchased before the patch date will be able to be radialed and refunded for another free Jewelry set.
  • Fixed Several references to "Beast Master" have been updated to Creature Handler

Doctor

  • Added Cure Afflictions has been added which is a short range AoE that reduces the damage of all non-stacking Bleed, Poison, or Disease DoTs by 100 (300 for "Improved"), and reduces stacking versions of those by 1 (3 for "Improved")
  • Added Cleanse Exposures has been added which is a short range AoE that reduces the damage of all non-stacking Fire, Cold, Acid, Electic, Kinetic, and Energy DoTs by 100 (300 for "improved:"), and reduces stacking versions of those by 1 (3 for "Improved")
  • Added Up to 3% Critical Hit Reduction has been added to the Pathology line
  • Removed Bandage, Countertoxin, Extinguish Fire, and Disinfect have been removed

Entertainer

  • Added Dancer and Musician missions now involve completion of a minigame. The mission will ask you to perform a specific flourish with the following outcomes:
    • Performing the correct flourish quickly will add a 6% bonus to the mission's payout, up to a 30% bonus for 5 fast flourishes during the mission's duration.
    • Taking a while to perform the correct flourish will not add a bonus, but the mission will continue.
    • Performing the wrong flourish or not flourishing at all will cause the mission to fail. /bandFlourishes from yourself or members of your group will not trigger a mission failure. Performing the requested flourish while in the middle of another flourish's animation will count as a successful flourish.
  • Added The Build-a-Buff Workshop collection has been added to the game.
    • This collection requires giving buffs to 30 of each advanced profession (aside from Entertainer or Jedi professions). When you give a player (on another account) a buff, you will earn credit for any professions mastered by that player.
    • Completing this collection will grant the "Dancing Pet" ability which you can train on one of your pet creatures (which no longer requires Creature Handler to call).
    • Dancing Pet will allow your pet to dance along with your flourishes, and grants you an additional 2 minute tick speed and 30 minute buff duration.
    • Once a player has been buffed by an entertainer they are no longer eligible to grant credit to another entertainer for two hours.
  • Changed Dancer and Musician missions can no longer be generated while indoors.
  • Changed Several changes have been made to Inspiration buffs:
    • Kinetic and Energy armor now grant 250 per tick @ 1 point cost, up to 6 (from 200 per tick @ 1 point, up to 5)
    • Elemental armor now grants 300 per tick @ 1 point cost, up to 5 (from 225 per tick @ 1 point, up to 5)
    • Speed and Accuracy now grant 5 per tick @ 1 point cost, up to 10 (from 5 per tick @ 2 points, up to 5)
    • Critical hit now grants 2% per tick @ 3 point cost, up to 3 (from 3% per tick @ 5 points, up to 1)
    • Critical hit Reduction now grants 3% per tick @ 3 point cost, up to 3 (from 3% per tick @ 5 points, up to 1)
    • Resilience (DoT absorb) now grants 4% per tick @ 1 point cost, up to 5 (from 4% per tick @ 2 point cost, up to 5)
    • PvP Damage Reduction now grants 5% per tick @ 5 point cost, up to 1 (from 5% per tick @ 3 point cost, up to 2)
    • PvP Decay Reduction now grants 10% per tick @ 1 point cost, up to 5 (from 10% per tick @ 2 point cost, up to 5)
  • Fixed Dancer and Musician missions now require Novice Dancer and Novice Musician, respectively.

Lancer

  • Changed Reduced Perception cooldown to 25 seconds from 60

Jedi

  • Added The Red meditation buff ("Power") now includes 10% lightsaber damage boost and 10% critical chance
  • Changed The Yellow meditation buff ("Connection") now includes 20% force cost reduction (from 12)
  • Changed Meditating will now always begin with the last meditation buff you had (even if it fell off)
  • Changed Meditate buffs now only play the visual/audio effect to the meditator themselves
  • Changed Lightsaber Assembly and Experimentation stats have been moved to Jedi Initiate and Padawan boxes instead of the Lightsaber tree.
  • Changed Lightsaber form stacking buffs now include 1% lightsaber damage per stack
  • Changed Saber Throw now ignores snare diminishing returns, and instead has a recourse timer
  • Changed Saber Power Attack's damage has increased, and GCD has decreased
  • Changed Saber Sweep is now Balanced Form
  • Changed Force Aura may now be used on allies
  • Changed Breach Guard now includes 50% debuff resistance, which will prevent any debuff from landing (with exceptions for non-removable debuffs)
  • Changed Changed animations for Dominate Mind and Force Bubble
  • Changed Dominate Mind gains an Energy DoT
  • Changed Improved Dominate Mind additionally adds a debuff to the target that reduces its damage against everyone else by 15%, and you can only have one Improved Dominate Mind target at a time. Moved to Master Defender
  • Changed Guardian Strike now applies a self buff that includes 25% PvE damage reduction. This buff cannot stack with Force Armor
  • Changed Force Storm now includes a snare

  • Added Moved Mobility Shot down to xx1x and added Improved Mobility Shot at xx4x
  • Added Improved Mobility Shot now applies the Warning Shot debuff (reduced defense)
  • Changed Fumble (Gunslingher set) can no longer miss, and now reduces target all target action AND action regen for 5 seconds (it still heals action for 500 after the debuff ends)
  • Removed Burst Shot has been removed
  • Removed Warning Shot has been removed

Ranger

  • Changed Net Trap health has been reduced by about 25%

Shipwright

  • Changed Shipwrights may now trade in experience for Force Sensitive experience at a rate of 50:1 The emblem of the Galactic Senate enotes that this patch note originated from requests or influence from one or more Galactic Senators.

  • Added The Space Component Tracking Device (purchasable on Ace of Aces Vendor) now has additional functionality to customize how looted component evaluations appear to the player. Radial the Device to bring up a customization menu:
    • Customization - Use this series of menus to customize at which value a part will turn Green upon examining. This can be customized for any type of component, reverse engineering level, or specific property. For example, a Level 8 Engine Top Speed of 105.00. If a player has a Customization set, that property will always turn Green at that level, regardless of Disabling
    • Disable Component - Use this menu option to turn off part evaluation for any parts or properties. Disabled components will always show as Grey or Red (except if there is a Customization or Enabled component set). For example, turn off all Droid Interface evaluation or the Armor property on all types of components.
    • Enable Component - Lastly, this menu option will provide overrides to Disabled components. For example, players may Disable all Reactors, but use the Enable option to specifically activate Level 6 Reactors if they wish
  • Added Flagged space players who destroy other players will now receive a pilot helmet trophy with information regarding the slayer, the slayer’s ship, the victim, the victim’s ship, which space zone the incident occurred, and the time of the event. This trophy may be collected for 5 Station Tokens or kept for sentimental value
  • Changed Space ship chassis changes are as follows per this Player Voice. This change is retroactive. This affects Player ships only An icon of a chat bubble denotes that this patch note originated from concepts introduced by the community in a PlayerVoice.   • Added Passengers who launch as a group in a POB ship or players who dock with a POB ship may now use the Ship Permissions Terminal to launch a Starfighter back into space offset to the POB as long at the POB is at a standstill
  • Added A new command /homeport is now available, which functions similarly to the Homeport button. Players must be stationary and out of PvP combat to use the command
  • Fixed Several bugs associated with strings while programming Droid Commands
  • Changed The first mission of each space squadron has had their navigation points adjusted to be a lesser distance from their base space station
  • Added Upon completing the first quest for their initial squadron trainer, new pilots will receive an Engine Overload 1 Chip, a v1 Flight Computer or basic R5 Astromech Deed (depending on the Squadron), and a popup menu explaining the importance of Droid Commands, how to program their new equipment, and where to find upgraded Droid Commands as they progress through their Pilot training
  • Changed Several space missions have had adjustments made to minimize the randomization component
    • Crimson Phoenix Squadron: Investigate Suspicious Rebel Craft
      • Increased inspection success rate from 25% to 50%
    • Corsec: Search for Shipment Orders
      • Decreased respawn time of targets from 2 minutes to 1 minute
    • Royal Naboo Security Force: Recover Industrial Cargo

A Patch Note IconUser Interface

  • Added The left and right side toolbars may now be resized to fit many configurations. If resized, the keybind labels will be hidden.
  • Fixed Buff effect tooltips will now show the correct value being applied if the stack size changes
  • Fixed Buff icons will stop blinking if their duration increases again
