- Implement a warning dialogue that triggers (like a pop-up) or simply text like when you change GCW Status that says upon logging in for the first time: Warning as you have reached an officer rank and were previously combatant you will be auto-flagged overt within 20 seconds,
- Justification
- It will give recently promoted officers of either faction a better heads up that they were auto-turned SF post first-time officer status. A better player experience overall.
- Motivation
- I logged in one of my toons for the first time and didn't realize he would be hitting an officer rank this week, since he was previously combatant within 1 seconds of loading in he was killed by the opposing faction as he was turned auto SF/overt. This was surprising and a bit unjust as I hadn't elected to be combatant nor knew I would be turning sf by design.
Posting this as one of my toons hit an officer rank today, I didn't realize and was combatant prior, thus as soon as I logged him into an open city/bazaar he was turned auto-overt/sf and was killed before I could even react. I warning dialogue and 10-20 second heads up would have been massively appreciated from a play experience perspective.
