Tycho Celchu challenges the player to beat their personal record for three types of missions. All of these missions are timed and will challenge the player's piloting ability, quickness, and ship quality.
Important:You will need a Deep Space hyperspace chip in your flight computer/astromech in order to complete certain trials!
Tycho's Trials
Tycho's questline consists of 9 timed missions, that are broken down to 3 missions per tier.
3 duty missions
3 circuit missions
3 corvette missions
The duty and corvette missions take place in Deep Space, while the circuit missions take place in various systems.
Tiers
There are 3 tiers associated with each of the missions above. The number of waypoints, difficulty, and quantity of ships remains the same. The only thing that changes between the tiers for each missions is the amount of time provided to be complete that mission.

Trial 1 - Duty Mission
These trial missions consist of having to clear a duty of Tier 6 fighters in Deep Space in a provided amount of time, depending on the tier.
You will need a Deep Space hyperspace chip in your flight computer/astromech for this mission - it takes too much time to get to Deep Space through traditional means
You may find a breakdown of the duty mission by using the table below.
k = Tier 6 Kihraxz, s = Tier 6 Scyk, i = Tier 6 Ixiyen, f = Tier 6 KSE Firespray, ki = Tier 6 Kimogila, kr = Tier 6 Krayt, Y = Tier 6 YT-1300

If you go over the timer you may still complete the duty mission, but you will not progress to the next quest in the tier.
Trial 2 - Circuit Mission
These trial missions consist of having to navigate to various waypoints across multiple systems in a provided amount of time, depending on the tier.
You will not need a Deep Space hyperspace chip in your flight computer/astromech for this mission
The order of systems that you will need to travel to are as follows:
Corellia
Naboo
Tatooine
Yavin
Endor
Dathomir
Dantooine
Kashyyyk
Ord Mantell
Each system will have 3 waypoints that the player will have to navigate to, before hyperspacing to the next system, except for Dathomir - which has 5 waypoints.
Note: The distance values will change, depending on the max speed your ship can reach.
These numbers were based off a speed of 1,730 (2,300 when boosting)
Corellia:
Set hyperspace navigation to Naboo, Royal Way once 1 km from the 1st waypoint
Naboo:
Set hyperspace navigation to Tatooine, Desert Sands once 3 km from the 1st waypoint
Tatooine:
Set hyperspace navigation to Smuggler's Run, Yavin once ~1km away from 2nd waypoint
Yavin:
Set hyperspace navigation to Endor, Area D-435 once ~3km away from 2nd waypoint
Endor:
Set hyperspace navigation to Endor, Empire's Justice 6km from the 2nd waypoint
Set hyperspace navigation to Dathomir, Dathomir's Vitality as soon as you arrive
Dathomir:
Set hyperspace navigation to Dathomir, Dark Force when 6km from 4th waypoint
Set hyperspace navigation to Dantooine, Asair's Ribbon as soon as you arrive
Dantooine:
Set hyperspace navigation to Dantooine, Dantooine's Wrath immediately
Set hyperspace navigation to Dantooine, Dantooine's Wrath again once 6 km from the 2nd waypoint
Set hyperspace navigation to Kashyyyk, Neutral Territories immediately
Kashyyyk:
Set hyperspace navigation to Kashyyyk, Rodian Territories immediately
Set hyperspace navigation to Kashyyyk, Imperial Overseer's Base when 6km from 2nd waypoint
Set hyperspace navigation to Nova Orion, Ord Mantell immediately
Ord Mantell:
Set hyperspace navigation to Nova Orion when 6km away from 1st waypoint
Set hyperspace navigation to Nova Orion when 6km away from 2nd waypoint
Trial 3 - Corvette Mission
These trial missions consist of having to destroy a Hidden Dagger's corvette in Deep Space in a provided amount of time. The corvette will be escorted by 2 Tier 5 Gunships and a handful of Tier 5 fighters.
You only need to destroy the Hidden Dagger's corvette - you do not need to destroy a single ship in the convoy that is escorting the corvette.
You will need a Deep Space hyperspace chip in your flight computer/astromech for this mission - it takes too much time to get to Deep Space through traditional means
Follow the standard recommended approach of fighting corvettes:
Destroy Weapon 5
Destroy Shield and Secondary Shield
Destroy Engine
Destroy Reactor
Destroy Bridge
You may destroy additional weapon systems on the corvette to increase survivability and mitigate damage taken, but remember, this is timed.
Rewards
Completion of each tier will provide you with rewards. Be sure to speak with Myrna the Space Queen after completing the final mission of each tier.
Some tips that might make these trials a little easier.
Duty Mission Tips
Standard duty mission, can use what you most likely use when you do high tier duty missions.
Common farming loadouts:
Rebels - Advanced X-Wing with 3 high-quality certification 8 weapons and a high quality certification 10 shield
Imperials - TIE Defender with 3 high-quality certification 8 weapons and a high quality certification 10 shield
Freelancers - Rihkxyrk/Krayt/Kimogila with 3 high-quality certification 8 weapons and a high quality certification 10 shield
You don't have to use these loadouts, but will probably be easiest if you do.
Circuit Mission Tips
Since this trial boils down to a "gear-check" on your ship and hyperspace timings, here are some tips that might make this trial a little easier.
Chassis and Ship Component Selection
This trial, especially the Aurodium tier, is very dependent on the quality of the engine your ship has.
First, it is highly recommend using a ship that has a 100% speed modifier. This will help get the most out the Engine Top Speed attribute of the engine ship component.
Rebels - A-Wing, T-Wing
Imperials - TIE Interceptor, TIE Advanced, Imperial Guard Tie Interceptor
Freelancers - Vaksai, N-1, Kihraxz
Now that we have our chassis, it's time to select our ship components. I have included screenshots of ship components that were used to complete the Aurodium tier in each ship component section.
Your ship should only have four components for this trial, in order to maximize the amount of mass you can allocate to the engine and booster. No shield, no armor, no weapons - build to be as fast as possible.
Engine (with highest Engine Top Speed you have)
Booster (with highest Booster Top Speed you have)
Droid Interface (with Reactor Overload - Four and Engine Overload - Four chips)
Reactor (with a Reactor Generation Rate high enough to handle the energy requirement)
The most important component for this trial is the engine. Use the fastest engine you have - the higher the top speed, the better! Try to shoot for ~120+ on the Engine Top Speed attribute.
While not as important as the other components, you will still need a droid interface that will have a high enough Droid Command Speed to complete your overloads as soon as possible.
High-quality droid interface (Mark IV was used in this guide)
(Crafted Mark IV Droid Interace)
Finally, you will need a reactor to be able to satisfy the energy requirement when using an Engine Overload - Four chip. You shouldn't need anything crazy.
(Looted Reactor)
Hyperspace Timings
In the hyperspace timings spoiler in the Circuit Mission section, there are certain hyperspace timings that need to be done "immediately" or "as soon as you arrive".
I decided to create macros for these specific timings, to save 1-2 seconds from having to open the Hyperspace Map, selecting the planet, selecting the route, and selecting OK. These are most likely optional, but in my successful attempt - I used these. These are the 5 macros that I ended up using.
Macro #1 - used when above Endor and the next step is "Set hyperspace navigation to Dathomir, Dathomir's Vitality as soon as you arrive"
I placed each macro on my toolbar, in order, and with a space between them so I didn't accidently click the wrong one. If you do click the wrong macro, your attempt will be blown.
F1 - Macro #1
F3 - Macro #2
F5 - Macro #3
F7 - Macro #4
F9 - Macro #5
Corvette Mission Tips
Standard Corellian Corvette fight. I recommend concentrating on only the Corvette and attacking in fly-bys.
