Undead Rancor is a side-quest in the
Quarantine Zone Theme Park. It is considered as group content and will require multiple players to complete.
The quest involves fighting an Undead Rancor, that is found in the caves of the Underground Research Facility in the Quarantine Zone on Dathomir.
Defeating the Undead Rancor grants you the Blackwing Bezoar Lightsaber Crystal, as well as, progress towards the Boss Badge Collection, which rewards the BWDL19 Rifle.
You can start the quest by clicking on a
Containment Terminal located deep within the Underground Research Facility.

You will
need to be in a group in order to take the quest.
Notes:
- 2 groups are highly recommended
- The Undead Rancor fight is timed
- You have 10 minutes to kill the Undead Rancor or they will despawn
- Make sure every group member has the quest
- If not, they will not receive the lightsaber crystal reward

Description:
Defeat the result of an ill-fated Blackwing experiment on a Rancor.
Recommended combat level: 80 and with a group(s)
Defeat Undead Rancor
Defeat the undead Rancor.
When ready, you can click on the
Containment Terminal again to spawn the Undead Rancor. The 10 minute timer starts when he spawns.

Tips:
- Bring Creature Handlers
- Obtain a combat droid to do extra damage
- Buffs, food, and drinks
- Bring Combat Medics and/or Doctors
- Bring a Squad Leader
If you manage to kill the Undead Rancor within the timer, you will complete the quest and your reward will be in your inventory.
You can repeat the quest as many times are you want and there is no cooldown.
Reward: Blackwing Bezoar Lightsaber Crystal and progress towards the Boss Badge Collection
