- Proposal
- Add two new options for tailor crafting to hide a single glove appearance, one for each hand.
- Justification
- For all those people who want to look like some traditional swordsmen, pop stars, drivers/pilots, Skywalkers who are always losing their hands, and other like-minded fops who care all about that drip.
- Motivation
- There is currently no comparable option, and this addition would allow for further character customization without requiring any new modeling.
While not being confident in how hand textures are mirrored in this game's coding, if the flipped assets do not require them to be matching/symmetrical models then it seems like this could be possible and a fun new option for character customization without having to add any new skins.
I think this could be done one of two ways:
1. Two appearance-only items for the Hands slot (one option for each hand) which, when equipped as appearance, would hide the glove skin on the specified hand. This method has the benefit of not requiring an Ithorian answer and allowing any glove worn on the opposing hand. (preferred solution)
2. Two sets of wearable gloves made using half of a common selection like Leather Work Gloves that would share the color palette with that item and make the respective skin on the opposing hand invisible. This would also necessitate a solution with the Ithorian Work Gloves. (alternate solution)
