Open Other Combat Add Some BH XP with Dangerous Fugitives

Proposal
When using the bounty check ability and you successfully identify a dangerous fugitive and take them down, award a small amount of BH XP (not necessarily as much as a normal BH mission) as you are technically completing a "bounty" which would make sense that you gain experience for it. Slightly more could be awarded for the elite/rare ones.
Justification
Regular bounty missions are still a good way to grind credits and other items, and this change would not affect that. From a literal standpoint it makes sense to get BH xp for completing a bounty. And there is a long cooldown on the ability so it isn't a "farmable" situation that would negate running regular BH missions.
Motivation
It would give more incentive or reward for regularly using the ability, or for those that get stuck waiting on one or two mobs for a large amount of time while completing the collection. It also would add usefulness with the village now implemented.
Would add more purpose to the bounty check ability.

Good idea. It will give the skill more depth rather than used just to complete a collection.

Its also on the dangerous fugitive collection. It counted to that every time I got it to work. The money was 1200 ish. Bidenomics demand an inflation adjustment. Same as Legacy quest payouts would be ok with me.

But the easiest XP in the game by a long, long margin is BH Investigation. It really needs no help

More so like Banth said it adds more value to the skill besides just a “complete the collection” not that it needs “more help.” Not saying it would add anywhere near a normal BH mission level of experience but say maybe 1K per positive ID or something similar.
But the easiest XP in the game by a long, long margin is BH Investigation. It really needs no help

But it would be pretty pointless as most BH fill those boxes with just few bounties. I cannot remember off hand how much I got but I literally filled the investigation boxes almost after each bounty

I do not believe that is a just reason for a gameplay change that affects mostly non-jedi.

I would rather see the credit payout for them increased rather than XP, if anything. Bounty hunter/smuggler underworld stuff is painfully underdeveloped in some areas and needs expanding/credit adjustment for inflation, and I'd rather not have it diluted to serve the needs of Jedi who will simply drop those professions anyways.

I personally don't see any reason why there would be pushback on giving BH XP for finding/killing these targets. It's a good idea and from what I can see only benefits the profession. If it isn't some insane level of effort on the part of the devs, then I think it's worth pursuing.

BH missions just got an increase in payout along with the other mission terminal increases. There is probably more than can be done in other departments in terms of Player Bounties - but regardless - whatever thoughts there are on bounty payouts - it should have no bearing on the focus of this PV, which is assigning BH XP for Dangerous Fugitive kills.

You make a good argument, and I'm not necessarily strictly against it. My point stands that, like Dnamra said, this seems like a really frivolous change. PvE bounties already give massive amounts of XP and assigning an XP payout of approximately 1k for bounty checks that take a considerably long time to cooldown seems like a really strange change to push for.

I hear ya - it comes down to a 'is the juice worth the squeeze' situation. I know when I've run BH missions in the past to level BH (like 20 different times), there's always instances where I'm just a couple thousand XP short to train in Investigation IV, and it would be pretty dope to be able to go to the Imp Outpost on Talus or wherever and snag a bounty check to get me over the finish line instead of having to run another BH mission.

Is it absolutely necessary? No. Would it be a cool change? Yes...would it be a frivolous change? Yea maybe..but it doesn't mean it's not worth asking for.
