- Proposal
- Currently, when a Jedi enters a Force Ghost state, only other Jedi can see and communicate with them. I propose expanding this mechanic so that Force-Sensitive players with at least one full branch mastered can also see and speak with Force Ghost players.
This would mean:
A Force-Sensitive (FS) player who has completed one full branch can visually see Jedi in ghost form.
They can communicate with them using (public chat) just like a Jedi can.
Other non-Force-Sensitive players would still be unable to see or hear the ghost.
This doesn’t change combat or progression it simply adds a small immersion boost for Force-aligned characters.
- Justification
- Lore-wise, individuals who are strong in the Force can sense and sometimes even communicate with Force spirits. This is consistent with Star Wars canon — characters like Leia and Maz Kanata (with limited Force sensitivity) have sensed or heard Jedi spirits before.
Gameplay-wise, this feature adds depth and community connection between Jedi and Force-Sensitive players. It allows FS players to experience part of the mystical side of the Force without trivializing the exclusivity of being a Jedi.
It also gives Jedi ghosts more meaningful social interactions while they’re in that form
- Motivation
- This change promotes immersion, inclusivity, and lore accuracy for Force users.
Right now, Jedi ghosts are cut off from nearly everyone, which can feel isolating for players who enjoy roleplay or want to interact with Force-related characters.
By allowing Force-Sensitive players with at least one full branch to see and communicate with Jedi ghosts, we bridge the gap between FS and Jedi communities while keeping the system balanced and lore-friendly.
It’s a small tweak that could add a lot of life, mystery, and depth to the galaxy.
Give Force-Sensitive players the ability to see and speak with Jedi spirits, reflecting their growing connection to the Force
