Proposal
Would it be possible for a AoA pilot to be able to choose the faction & squadron of choice without having to re-grind the pilot provession from 0. ( Not loose all the pilot experience)
Of course they would need to be in the correct standing for Rebel or Imperial factions. Maybe offer a specialized co ordinator affiliated with the necessary faction (Imperial - Admiral) (Rebel - Lea Organa) (Neutral - Han Solo or Lando ) or perhaps a person of interest in the AoA lounge that would offer the option based on Prestige points. The pilot would be able to procure the option to choose the faction/squadron of choice without having to re-grind the profession
Justification
AoA is a prestige title and a mark of excellence for any pilot . Having to loose all Pilot training Experience when wanting to choose a differant faction /squadron is tedious and just inconvienient.
Obviously a pilot that is begining their carear planning on becoming an AoA can plan accourdingly however allot of pilots decide later on in ther profession to endevour and goo for the title of AoA. Would be nice to be able to decide to swith without the tedois task of starting over.
Motivation
As an Imperial pilot that has completed all imperial squadrons already, and wanting the prestige and benifits of AoA, when competed I would proberbly end up finishing as a Neutral Pilot. This would not allow for me to fly my Imperial gunship or Imperial fighters and POB that I have already kitted and own. I would like to then be able to swith back to Imperial without having to start all over so to speak.

When a pilot completes the Ace of Aces title. He/She would have completed 9 squadrons ,3 squadrons of each faction.
Scenario : Pilot starts with a faction and ends up when completing the journey with another faction. (usually without planning )
As an AoA pilot , if I wanted to switch to a different squadron (i.e. I started as Imperial pilot , grinded all squardons and ended with say completing as a Neutral pilot) No I want to fly as an Imerial Pilot and fly my Imerial choice of ships ( Decimator, Imp Gunny, Tie whatever..) Currently as I understand , He/She would have to resign as freelance piot and go to the Imperial squadron of choice and re-grind the profession (at this stage it should go relativly quick given the master Pilot Exp ) It would be nice as a AoA not to have to regrind for the faction and squadron of choice.
 
I too am a lazy AoA who doesn't want to regrind the original pilot faction and am getting grief about it from my friends. Something like this would probably be prohibitively hard to do, but if it wasn't, it would make an excellent credit sink. Let an AoA pay to change their pilot faction.
 
I'm more open to modifying the experience multiplier to x6 than this.

Quick changing squads breaks things, like flagging. I've experienced it on TC. I'd rather not spend precious space dev and tester time trying to make sure this works right over getting other content and bugfixes in.

AoA already has tons of perks, including more loot from Patriot's missions, discounts at Kash, the hangar, a 5x experience multiplier, and a special vendor.

I don't get it. Everyone has 3 toons right? One for each pilot faction. No problems with having ships you can't fly that way.
