Proposal
Allow for all entertainer players in group to get credit for the collection of someone buffed in the group. (If this is too much allow for at least crafters as there are only a few of some crafters on the server)
Justification
It is currently very hard for players to get the buff collections and entertainers are having to fight to try to get other players to come and let them buff them. Server population and only few of certain crafters on the server.
Motivation
This would then encourage grouping again and allow for more socialization and multi player and give credit for the entertainers in the group for the collection.
Group Buff for ent collections. There are only a few of some crafters on the server or even just for crafters or some of the super rare professions. Allowing for a group application would encourage entertainers to group again.

I agree with this 100%. The way it was implemented, the Dancing Pet collection forces entertainers to compete with each other for buffs, and the social professions should be collaborative, NOT combative. Grouping with other ents should be encouraged, and this would incentivize it.
 
isn't the collection supposed to be a more long-term goal, given the amount of each prof needed? It was naturally a bit more competitive at the beginning to compete for the server first and as people felt like they needed to rush to get this done, but eventually this will calm down as more and more people complete it. If ents are not grouping and 'fighting' for players that sounds like a community problem they need to address themselves.
 
I feel like this collection rewards ents who actually talk to players and make real communication and not just "hey what can I get you 'insert hun/babe/w/e'". Eventually the ents that have a very solid client base will get the collection and if the ent community is as strong as people say then surely they'll be nice enough to get their friends it also. This isn't something that should be finished in the space of week honestly either so yea no thanks
 
I think the collection is fine as is, to be honest. Clearly looks to be aimed at a longer term grind and there are already a handful of ents who have managed to complete the collection. Dont think this needs to become a trivial thing to compelete and i think grouping may push it too far that way.
 
Down vote for a couple of reasons
-This really just encourages more AFK , what is to stop a player from joining a group go afk and still get credit for buffs they did not even perform
-The collection is fine as is , several players have completed it already , this proves it can be done without this
=This is a long term goal for entertainers that love their craft
