Galactic Supply Lines Arrive on SWG Restoration
Trade has always been at the heart of the Star Wars galaxy — and now, moving goods across it is about to become far more dangerous, profitable, and player-driven.Galactic Supply Lines introduces a new system that connects crafters, traders, escorts, and raiders into a shared risk-and-reward economy. Whether you’re manufacturing supplies, hauling cargo between cities, protecting a convoy, or hunting one down, Supply Lines turn the space between starports into meaningful gameplay.
Overview
Galactic Supply Lines create dynamic, contested trade routes between cities by allowing players to transport valuable cargo across the world for profit.Crafters generate supply crates. Convoyeers move them. Sentinels protect them. Interceptors hunt them.
Every role is optional — but every role matters.
Crafter Supplies
Crafters are the backbone of the Supply Lines system. Each crafting profession now has access to a new schematic in their master box:
“Crate of Supplies.”
These crates represent large-scale logistical goods and can be turned in to Market Brokers for profit. Each crate type has a weekly turn-in limit, ensuring that supply remains steady without becoming a grind.
By producing supply crates, crafters directly fuel the broader galactic economy — and create opportunities for transport, protection, and interception.
Market Brokers & Market Fencers
Market Brokers and Market Fencers have been added to all cities with a starport.- Market Brokers can be found near the right side of the starport exit
- Market Fencers are located behind the starport
Vehicles and Conveyers
Not all vehicles are suitable for hauling cargo — and choosing the right one matters.Eligible vehicles (excluding jetpacks and hover vehicles) now feature cargo-specific stats:
- Cargo Capacity: 3, 9, or 21
- Cargo Speed: 5, 4, or 3
- Cargo Hull Integrity: 50,000 / 75,000 / 100,000
- Sentinel Capacity: 0, 1, or 2
Two new vehicles have also been added:
- Demilitarized AT-AT
- Demilitarized Hailfire
Convoyeers
Any player can become a Convoyeer.By speaking to a Market Broker, players can load cargo into an eligible vehicle and transport it to another city. Once within 100 meters of a Market Broker at the destination, the cargo can be sold for a profit.
While transporting cargo:
- Entering buildings is disabled
- Fast travel is disabled
- Cargo drops on the ground if the vehicle is destroyed
- Outside of cities
- Not currently engaged in PvP combat
Sentinels
Convoyeers don’t have to travel alone. When using an eligible vehicle with sufficient cargo capacity, players may hire Sentinels — other players who agree to escort and protect the convoy. Sentinels are recruited through the Market Broker prior to departure.
All profits from a successful run are split evenly between the convoyeer and their sentinels, creating natural incentives for cooperation, planning, and escort gameplay.
Interceptors
Where there is profit, there is piracy.Players looking to intercept convoys can speak to a Market Fencer to rent an Illegally Modified Speeder. These speeders are:
- Exceptionally fast
- Immune to damage until cargo is loaded
- Temporary, despawning after 30 minutes
This creates a high-speed, high-risk playstyle centered around ambushes, pursuit, and disruption.
A Living Trade Network
Galactic Supply Lines are designed to turn routine travel into meaningful decisions.
Do you take the safest route — or the fastest?
Do you hire protection — or risk it alone?
Do you run the cargo — or hunt it?
Every successful delivery and every ambush reshapes the flow of goods across the galaxy.
